Works as advertised used it a number times already for gold, silver, and copper. With satisfactory results each time. Not for use with platinum group metals ad it dose not reach the appropriate temperatures. This is a nice piece of equipment at a great price point. I would recommend this product for the beginner as well as the skilled tradesman looking to do small batch melts and castings.

The only issue I have is with the tongs for the crucible, it fused together and nearly broke the crucible on the first use.

Nicholas Denney Smelter problems
I really actually enjoy this product but I have only used it about 10 times and the power switch seems to have shorted out. You can hear electricity arcing inside of it when you attempt to turn it on. I've been able to get it to turn on a few times by propping a foreign object up against the power switch but it takes a while to get it just right and the problem seems to keep getting worse. I would have hoped I could have gotten more uses out of this product. I think in total I smelt it around 11 lbs of copper and that's about it

Too bad it wasn't working when I received it When I communicated this, I had to open the smelter and found out that they forgot to connect a wire causing the digital display not lighting up.

Not bug enough as pictures. The mold is so small I am very disappointed i want mt money back but idk id they'll give it to me. Em
Terrible for anything but a piece of jewelry this was not as advertised and this company y *my co pa y will not order the rest of them. We needed 578 of them and there is no way that this can do the most simplest of tasks. Numerous reasons why it's just a bad product.

Prodotto di pessima qualità, usato una volta e subito si è rotto, il problema più grande è l assistenza , mi rispondono dicendo che entro 24 mi aggiornano ma praticamente sono passati 10 gg e non sanno darmi una risposta, quando di risposta ce ne sarebbero poco o il rimborso o la sostituzione, peccato perché ho già acquistato un loro forno qualche anno fa senza avere problemi, ora sono peggiorati sia di qualità ma soprattutto di assistenza, sconsigliato
