I wasnt sure about the purchase but figured it was worth trying. Once it arrived i put it to use at full extension. Very pleasantly surprised at the quality of this saw. I used it to cut branches that were about 8” thick. Nothing at all wrong with it.

Nice unit, but tough, and I mean really tough, when using the small limb trimmer to cut limbs with the pole extended...I thought the rope or pole would break, and gave up trying....Used the saw blade and the stub left was not what I wanted...Bark peeled back damaging the remaining limb, making it susceptible to disease...The pole tends to bend when pulling the cutting rope too...Not for the weaker folks.

I bought this to trim dead branches from tall palm trees in our yard. It worked fine and given what tree trimmers charge these days, it has already paid for itself.

Overall, this pole saw is great. I used it to prune two trees in my yard (an 20’ and an 15’) and it did a great job! It comes with the pain points you might expect for a manual saw (definitely takes more physical effort vs a powered saw, the pull string on the sheers was a bit awkward to use, the poles had a tendency to want to unthread from each other if your spun the wrong way) but the blades were razor sharp and cut through all the branches with ease. Once I got the hang of the saw it did a fantastic job, particularly considering the price point. The pull sheers were especially useful, if a bit awkward to use, but again once I got through a learning curve I used them extensively to trim my tree. With some time, some effort, and some upper body strength this saw did a great job. A great tool at an unbeatable price!

De takkenzaag is degelijk, redelijk geprijsd, makkelijk in elkaar te zetten en het is uitstekend dat er een reserve zaagblad is meegeleverd. In het gebruik is het zeker op hoogte even wennen, maar de stevige steelonderdelen geven goed houvast. De combinatie zagen en knippen maakt dat het een ideaal hulpmiddel is in het voorjaar bij het onderhoud van de bomen en hoge struiken. Wat mij betreft een aanbeveling.
