The motor fires up but the auger barely starts to spin then will do nothing at all.

It broke after first use and I had to repair the winding coil for the starter cord. It's a beast - really loud, smelly, and loose parts. If I had to decide again, I would buy a higher quality auger elswhere.

The first unit did not work. They sent me a replacement unit that worked for one hole then started having issues. Not pleased.

Voulant me faciliter la tache du fait d’avoir une soixantaine de trois à faire, j’ai acheter ce matériel. Au premier démarrage ralenti très instable mais ajusté avec quelques tours de clefs. Premier trou impeccable et deuxième trou, le câble d’accélérateur casse net alors que je n’avais aucun point dur en accélérant. Bref, un achat qui ne m’a servi à rien car nous étions un dimanche donc impossible de remplacer le câble. j’ai fait les 60 trous à la pelle bêche ce dont je voulais à tout prit éviter pour un gain de temps. Qualité du câble et de la poignée d’accélérateur déplorable.

The throttle was stuck in wide open position. When I functioned the throttle in attempt to slow down the RPM the throttle cable broke.

This is a POS. Throttle stuck on right out of the box. Very dangerous. Fix the cable and it still randomly sticks and spins out of control. If you want to loose and arm this machine will do it for you. Not the quality I am use to with Vevor.

They will not respond to my claim on the protection plan I paid for.

I have been using different auger for over 20 years (Toro). This one was an impulse purchase due to price and we needed one more to finish the project quicker. The Vevor auger is absolutely horrible and unsafe!!! The throttle lever is pretty much open full force on the start up and the drill bit starts spinning immediately when you will crank the machine. The drill bit cut deep chunk into my shin exposing my bone as soon as I started it and the machine was spinning full throttle everywhere on the ground. Again, be aware!!! Throttle doesn't work, the machine might spin full force as soon as you will crank it. Extremely unsafe. You can't control speed with the lever. It goes 100% without pressing on the throttle. Unsafe pretty much life threatening junk!!!!

The Auger may actually be pretty good. If you're ordering it, I hope you get it. I DID NOT. I received two outside light assemblies and when I contacted VEVOR, they refused to take it back asking for pictures after I sent three that showed the box label that showed what it was, the shipping label which matched theirs, and another that had information directly on the box. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company because VEVOR refuses to make this right. I wanted to return the item and get the one I ordered and they're stuck in some sort of loop asking me to peel the shipping label back to they can see the part number which is actually visible behind the shipping label. Flip the picture upside down and zoom and THERE IT IS. I will not do business with this company again. Maybe you'll get yours, maybe you'll get something totally different. Poor customer service.
