Unit works fine in soft soils. Watch out for roots, will rip the unit from your hands. User manual is very poor, with stuff like when to change engine oil in a 2 stroke engine. Spend a few minutes and you could write a manual that makes sense.

Very slow delivery, i wanted to return they made it very hard to return wanted me to take a discount and keep it, I did not want to do this but ended up taking discount and keeping it. Disappointed vevor would not honor what I wanted.

Seem to be good quality. I put it together easily. Haven't been able to use it yet because it arrived with missing screws and nuts that I haven't been able to find at a local hardware

Can’t beat the price, but you also get what you pay for. Mine came with the engine froze up enough that the pull cord was unable to turn the engine over. I was able to remove the pull stay mechanism and turn the motor with a ratchet to get it unstuck, but that isn’t really something you should have to do on a brand new machine. In addition, my on/off switch does not function at all. Finally, it would be nice if it came long enough to burry posts beneath the frost line, especially since Vevor does not sell extensions.

Good for small jobs but its not good for soil with stones and roots

The post hole digger work great at first. But the more I used it started to idle lower and keep turning off while digging the holes.

Product arrived quickly, but was damaged in either packaging or shipping. The finger trigger was broken, which essentially made the auger unusable. I reached out to customer service, which was another issue, but they agreed to send a replacement piece. This took almost two extra weeks to receive that piece. And when it arrived I had to go through the process of repairing the machine myself even though I had no knowledge of how it went together bc it was broken when I got it. There were no directions and I had to google images to try piece it together. Might not sound like a big fix, but it wasn’t ideal. Once together it was fine, but not a great first experience with Vevor.

saw some better deals on other sales packages which had more auger attachments which I greatly needed since I have over 30 bareroot trees to plant from National Arbor Day Foundation.

I buy this month 2 orders and a total of 20 augers, 13 of them have missing nuts and screws. The fedex delivery driver told me that he got many in the floor but still too many missing. You Need to put more attention in packing safely the small parts. What I do return all the augers or you will send me replacements nuts and screw's? Try to Send emails and chat and I one contacted me what else I have to do, getting ready to return all of them,

Price is great. If the dirt is simple and easy, this is a great auger. If you anticipate heavy roots and rocks, this may not be a good choice. Drill bit tips broke on third hole dug, one tube curious sprayed me with gasoline yesterday, and oil ratio is 40:1 instead of 50:1 (all my other tools are 50:1).
