I've had this for around 3 years now. The quality is mid, many of the rubber fingers have broken off. You can do two to three chickens at a time and it does a pretty decent job. It is not suitable for turkeys or larger Birds. It came dented and kind of beat up in the packaging. But overall I'd give it three to four stars for the price.

Needed new "fingers" after a few uses. Had to straight wire it after the plug got wet. Otherwise, it's been doing well. For size, Ducks & big Roos are 1 at a time - Quail are 4 at a time.

We processed 25 meat birds with this plucker. They were just shy of 10 weeks old, so maybe more feathers than typical. Our finished processed whole birds weighed between 6 to nearly 10 pounds. This plucker clogged frequently and prevented the motor from spinning. We needed to pull the drum off and clear the feathers below the turntable approximately every other bird. It significantly reduced our plucking time, but was not as maintenance free as some other models we’ve used. Was also damaged in shipping, but did not prevent the plucker from functioning properly.

Your products are usually great although they almost always arrive damaged and then it’s a two week argument with your customer service to get satisfaction

The price was good but the bottom plate that spins gets jammed up with feathers every couple of birds. I have to unclip then top and dislodge them every couple of minutes. Pretty disappointing.

This machine consistently jams with feathers. The exit port needs to be modified so it will work properly.

I saw mixed reviews before I purchased my plucker 12/2024. Everything arrived in good condition. It worked perfectly for my first run of chickens 5/2025 (30 CC). I had some roosters to go to the freezer and used it again 8/2025… it worked for the first bird and quit on the second. I figure water got into the motor since that seems to be the general consensus of others’ issues too. I contacted support and hopefully we can figure something out since it’s within the 12 months of purchase, but I haven’t heard back yet (it’s only been 2 days). Save your money though, and get a better model.

When I unpacked the unit, it was already in rough shape. I had borrowed the exact same model from a buddy last year, and his was banged up too—but I figured he’d just been hard on it. Turns out that’s just how these things come. Even the chute where the feathers exit was crinkled and dented, although it seemed to be just the thin stainless sheeting, so mechanically it looked okay. That was, until we got about 12 birds in and the on/off switch gave out. Luckily, it failed in the on position, so we were still able to keep going. My daughter had to stand by to plug and unplug it as needed until we finished. To its credit, it did an excellent job plucking feathers—but if that switch had failed in the off position? I’d have been one mad SOB.

On the machine it states recommended for 10kgs which is 22lbs. I had two cornish cross' in the machine and it spun slowly but still beat the birds up and damaged the meat. We tried 4 separate times to pluck with adjusting our scald time in case it was our fault and this machine just mangled the chicken without deplucking. Then the machine wouldn't even rotate even after a thorough cleaning and declogging. We did spray water on the chicken as it spun the couple times we could get it to spin. After spending a lot of time cleaning it and ensuring it was ready to go it would still not engage in the spin. Very disappointed as we had to depluck by hand and then switched up to skinning as this was taking way longer then it should've.
