It arrived a bit biffed and has a dent in it. Apart from that it is easy to clean and operate. It only does birds up to 10lbs then it struggles. My last few birds were a bit heavy but I managed. I love the exhaust were all the feathers come out it is safe and contained if i attach an old feed bag to it!

It would help if they included an operator's manual with it. Once I figured it out worked well.

Overall the plucker worked well. The discharge would get jammed because the feathers were getting stuck under the plate. I'd have to remove the drum about every 3 chickens to manually pull the feathers out. We were processing 5.5 - 6lb chickens, one at a time.

Works good. Used it 3 times with about 40 chickens. Only did 1 bird at a time. Worked pretty good. I did have to take it apart every 5-10 birds to pick out feathers cause it would stop the machine but worked good over all. I would but it again.

Does what it says. Works great for meat chickens, but does get clogged up if used on full grown roosters. Their long tail and neck feathers seem to clog up the feather chute, but that's been an issue on all the plucker I've used in the past not just this one. The only feature I wished it had was a water ring on the inside that you hook a hose up to like some other models out there.

Works well, replaced smaller model from Vevor that lasted about a year before it stopped working.

Did 15 broilers between 7-10lb each after processing, worked flawless, build quality is decent, It's pretty heavy which is not a bad thing, some of the welds on the frame leave lots to be desired 😅 the sheet metal covering the base is too thin and is flimsy af, good chance when yours arrives it will have "body damage" like mine did, and from the other reviews its a pretty common trend. It is pretty heavy and works excellent, sove so much time, and easy to clean, if you can get past the minor cosmetic damage its a great unit, good power, and large drum, functions as it should. This weekend comming up I am going to run a few turkeys through it.

Year 2 of rasing Cornish cross meat birds and today was the day we upgraded to the plucker. It was great but like most things, room for improvement. Reading a ton of reviews on this plucker and reviews on others we devised a game plan based off of those complaints/recommendations and away we went. We did 1 bird at a time, sprayed the hose the entire time and cleaned out any clumps of feathers that accumulated between each bird. We did have 1 dislocated wing that came through the skin, not mad about that out of 10 birds. Clean up took about as long as the entire plucking process so that was a pain. The tub was extremely difficult to put back on the base after cleaning, there were a lot of feathers stuck in the base of the "fingers" which was also annoying. It was an investment that I have no regrets about as long as this plucker lasts many years. It really does a nice job removing almost very feather as long as your scalding water is at 150 degrees and the birds is in it for about 45 seconds. I think this machine is a great addition processing day and I see more birds being added to the flock next year because of it. Shipping was fast, arrived in great condition and the price is unbeatable. Do yourself a service and get one for your home processing.
