I love this fermenter yet. I just noticed that now you have come out with a version two and in a larger one which allows for heat control as I brew German wheat beer it has to be held at a certain temperature which is below normal temperatures inside so I’m happy to see that they added that but it’s also over $300 to get that giant fermenter and you don’t get the circulating pump or the coil necessary so that’s the only reason I’ll rate this a little bit lower than usual

It's a bit flimsy in metal thickness but as a fermenter it's large and inexpensive. However, after my first brewing attempt with it I have to say the measurements on the fermenter are way off. I just measured it and you have to fill this fermenter to the 25 liter (6.6 gallon) mark to actually have 6 gallons. Being off by over a half a gallon means not of these markings are right.

This product does not come with a Racking Arm. However, it is well made in every other aspect. I'm gonna have to order a racking arm from somewhere else so I can use it. In it's factory configuration, you're going to pull a lot of trub into your bottles, cans or kegs. Northern Brewer sells their Reactor fermenter with a racking arm and it works great to help keep the yeast trub out.

Performs as described. Includes cooling coil.

Works well, easy to clean, appears to be well built. My only complaint, the rubber feet do not fit properly on the extensions. After a little fiddling, seems to be OK.

Good quality fermenter. Yeast dump is nice. I’m currently doing secondary fermentation for a wine in it, and it works great for that as I should be able to dump sediment out when I am done with this step. The big improvement I would suggest is the ability to keep some pressure for natural carbonation and pressure fermentation of some beers. Price is excellent compared to other companies’ comparable fermenters. Build quality seems excellent.

Hit in two places in transport.

This item functions as intended and has some nice features like the: handles, concave bottom, and 2 spouts for liquid and yeast/lees discharge. However, the legs are not adhered to the tank sufficiently - the welds are simply not robust enough. One of my legs is already loose and I'm sure the others will suffer a similar fate, despite the fact that I have been as gentle as possible with the unit.

Not a bad fermenter for the price, but the silicone seal is terrible. It does have a way to stay in the lid securely, so when you put the light on you have to line everything up perfectly which is almost impossible. Your more likely to end up with an infected batch of beer with this fermenter than you are with a plastic bucket.
