When I got this item, the shipping was quick and came with everything I needed. When I did the initial start-up, the oil pump was unplugged, and I had to cut into the case to plug it in since the unit is riveted to the toolbox. The installation in my van went great. Travelled to Utah and Tahoe over the course of 2 weeks and had to use this to stay warm. I'm powering it off a Bluetti AC50 power bank and can get ample run time on this before needing to recharge. I only used this unit maybe 7 or 8 times before it started blowing smoke and not heating well. After troubleshooting i now need to remove the riveted heater unit and clear/replace parts, which is going to be a pain in the ass considering I just installed this 3 weeks ago... good unit but poor quality in performance. After reviewing the QR code videos on google drive ill have to uninstall it, dismantle it, clean/ buy parts, then hope it works as intended afterward. I recommend it for light uses or in an area where you don't need to uninstall it after less than 1 month of use.

While the unit over is pretty nice and does work it is no where near an 8K heater whether you are measuring input or output. An 8K heater should produce (or consume depending how it is rated) approximately 27,000 btu per hour. I was heating with an adjustable propane heater with three level at 15,000 btu, 30,000 btu, and 45,000 btu. Generally I use the 30 or 45 setting to heat the room up and then kick it down to the 15 to maintain temperature. Generally even the 15 setting is too much and I have to cycle it on and off every 30 minutes or so. I though this heater would be perfect as I could run it on high to heat the room then scale it back to maintain temp. However, on high this raised my room temp about 2 degrees per hour. On low (15,000 btu) my propane heater raises it about 4 degrees per hour. So next step was to look at the fuel consumption. They claim .36 liter per hour and diesel has an energy density of 35,000-36,500 btu per liter. This equates to 13,140 btu per hour at best. Considering there is a heat exchanger with external combustion the efficiency of this unit is probably 80-90%. Once again going on the best case this leaves us with it being close to a 11,800 btu heater or a 3.5K heater.

Heb er in totaal vier gekocht, deze branden aan koeken gewoon vol zut, eene uitgekuist dat heel veel werk en tijd verlies is, ben dan overgestapt op petroleum, en blijkbaar koekt het ook aan. Vertel mij wa ik verkeerd doe ?????????.

Ein sehr gute Gerät, Preiswert, rasche Lieferung, hat aber NICHT DEM ERSTEN VON MIR GEKAUFTEN GERÄT entsprochen. Nachfragen haben ergeben, dass bei diesem Gerät keine Pumpfrequenz umgestellt werden kann. Die Pumpfrequenz ist aber ziemlich hoch fix eingestellt und verbraucht viel Diesel. Anfragen bei VEVOR haben letztlich zu keinem Ergebnis geführt, wie eine Lösung erfolgen kann. Sehr bedauerlich, jetzt muß ich mich selbst um irgendwelche Mainboards oder Platinen kümmern.

It’s a very cool heater however the directions are useless. I have installed it correctly but cannot get the heat function to operate. A little start up directions specifically for the Y30 would be great. Once I get this heater working and heating my work shop I’m suit will be a 5 star rating. And yes I primed the system and no error codes.

Package arrives, and it turns out it does not contain a remote, nor does it contain the heat sleeve that goes outside the exhaust tube. I did make my own, by purchasing non-flammable glass wool and high temperature wrapping tape to make sure the tube going through the outer wall of the workshop was well heatshielded. The user manual is - literally - a joke. It does have a part covering the specific type of display on this unit - and several other models in the same manual - but the information is not in any way relevant for the menu contents. Example in question, the timer programming feature is scandalously badly written, making it a guessing game as to how to program it for it to function as pr expectations. Fortunately, other users on Youtube have taken the "battle" before me, and have made videos showing how it is *actually* supposed to be programmed. Apart from that, it is effective as a winter heat source on the coldest days.

Works good needs bigger fuel sell

Habe das Gerät ausgewählt, weil es laut Beschreibung Räume mit 20qm heizen kann. Leider kommt aus dem Gebläse nur mäßig warme Luft in der Standardstufe 3 (weniger heiß als ein Fön). 5 Stufen hat das Gerät. Bei Stufe 5 wird es etwas besser, aber dann produziert das Gerät schon einen Höllenlärm. Also wie eine Turbine. Mit Stufe 3 braucht es mindestens 1 Stunde bis der Raum spürbar (5-10 Grad) wärmer wird. Ausgangstemperatur war um die 3 Grad. Nach einer Stunde vielleicht 10 Grad. Der Dieselverbrauch ist tatsächlich gering. Leistung auch. Geräusche nicht.

Over all the heater it's self is good but the wiring is short. I was missing the rubber hose that I thought would have came with it. I had to add wiring to the heater and now it's not working 😭. Can I please return it and you can send me out another one? Thanks Paul.
