This is not a rigid style roof carrier, it's actually really flexible. Our round-trip was probably 26 hours driving with it. It's super light and easy to install and very easy to remove. I like that you can open it from either side just in case you can't reach from one side. I definitely recommend buying a little tiny step ladder makes it easier to access depending on how high your vehicle is. It's so quiet and you can't even tell that. It's on the roof when you're driving on the highway. Very aerodynamic. You definitely need to make sure that you have roof rails installed on your vehicle before hand.

Great cargo box looks great on my car. Cuts wind like crazy and helps my car hug the road.

Need more stickers to block extra hold

Installed it on my RAV 4. Easy installation on the roof crossbars (also from Vevor). Opens from both sides, which is very useful, because I also bought an awning (Vevor :-) ), so I had the choice of the side where I could install it. Comes with all the installation accessories, including straps to secure objects inside the box. Looks and feels sturdy, and looks classy too. I bought the 8 cu ft one, which is the right size for a RAV 4 roof. (Maybe there would be enough space remaining for the 11 cu ft one)

The Vevor car roof box offers decent value for its price, but the components have a cheap appearance and feel less durable than more expensive brands. The product is not rugged, so it requires careful use, and noticeable scratches upon arrival suggest possible previous returns, even though packaging was protective. Despite these issues, the roof box was functional and reliable for a journey, making it a reasonable choice for those on a budget, as long as expectations for durability remain modest and it is handled with care.

Purchased recently to replace an old Thule Pacific 600. Very happy with the packaging, and quality of build seems great. We travelled 3000kms+ over the recent holidays, the pod travelled well in our Mazda 6 Wagon, it was quiet, and stayed entirely water proof. It carried a large off road pram, a large beach shelter, 3 bags of clothes and 2 picnic blankets. Very happy with it!

this rooftop carrier fits out needs. easy to install. Only downside, it's shiny black. Would have preferred a Matte Black finish.

Good quality and very easy to fit onto vehicle opens either way and has double locking mechanism. Lightweight but sturdy.

I think the price point on this item is fairly high, even if it was “on sale”. It is a lightweight fiberglass material, which seems a bit flimsy, but looks like it should hold up for my purposes… hoping so anyway. On the plus side, I’ve already driven well over 160 kms. with it ontop of my car (city & highway) & have not even noticed a difference in sound (noise) or vehicle performance, with it installed. That is a huge plus, , as I will be making a cross country trek with it this summer, & was not going to appreciate extra wind/noise levels along the way. Another plus is the fact that it opens from either side (with a stable foldable rod holding the lid open) giving the advantage of placing it either in the middle of the vehicle roof, or on either the driver or passenger side. It’s also quite easy to move from one side to the other, if you don’t like the initial placement. I bought the smaller model (8 cu. feet) to fit on top of my small SUV, but the interior storage space looks adequate for my extra storage needs.
