Haven't got anything bad to say about this pump. It works great. It will pull a vacuum down below 29.5" hg. It has been used several times for all the A/C repair work we've done this summer. Haven't had any trouble with it yet. I bought it because a friend of mine had one. We hooked it up to a tractor and left it running for several days, because we forgot it. We got sidetracked doing something else. The pump was still running several days later and holding a good vacuum. It is still working as it should. That is the reason I bought one for myself. They have to be built pretty good to run that long continuously and not burn up.

I’m very impressed with this VEVOR vacuum pump so far. The 3/4 HP motor and 7 CFM capacity give it plenty of power, and the two-stage design pulls a very good vacuum. It feels like a serious piece of equipment rather than one of the small, lightweight pumps that struggle when you need to evacuate a system properly. I really like having the different inlet options, including 1/4" SAE, 3/8" SAE, and 1/2" ACME. That makes it much easier to use with different HVAC and automotive A/C setups without having to constantly figure out adapters. The pump is also built quite solidly. The cast housing and cooling fan give it a substantial feel, and I like the clear oil sight window because it makes checking the oil level quick and easy. It also comes with vacuum pump oil, so there is no need to immediately go searching for the correct oil just to get started. The 7 CFM capacity is more than enough for the type of HVAC and automotive work I’m doing, and the pump evacuates systems quickly. I also like that it can be used for other jobs such as resin degassing, which makes it more useful to have around the shop. It is not the quietest tool in the shop, but the noise level is reasonable for a vacuum pump and certainly not a deal breaker for me. The overall construction feels good, the motor has plenty of power, and it is straightforward to operate. For the price, I think this is a great vacuum pump. It has the capacity and features I would expect from a much more expensive unit, and it should be a very useful addition to anyone doing HVAC, refrigeration, automotive A/C, or other vacuum-related work. I’m very happy with it and would buy it again.

Works great, used it to pump down the evaporator and line set for a new mini split. Pull vacuum for 30 minutes at 29”. Held 29” for 24hrs.
