Bought this planner and it seemed good . After about 2-3 hours of pretty easy use it started smoking a bit then made a really loud grinding sound and spark came out of the motor. I shut it off immediately and felt the motor and it wasn’t very hot but after I waited a half hour or so I tried it again and still sounded pretty bad. I contacted Vevor for a refund/ replacement but they kept asking me to take different parts of it apart to see if I could find the issue. After several attempts at that I was asked to take out the motor and disassemble that. At that point I gave up because it wasn’t very hot obvious I wasn’t going to get a refund or a replacement. I have other Vevor products that I don’t have a problem with but have not had to send them back for replacement. It looks like you get what you pay for and they don’t stand by their faulty products. Not sure if I will purchase any more from them.

4th piece of wood thru the plainner and the drive belt broke. Wasn't taking to much off, just a weak belt. Called Vevor and it's been ridiculous. They want a photo or a video of the machine not working before they would do anything. Now they are sending a new belt, be here in 3 weeks! I'll be moved on to a different job by then. Not impressed
