Used this to plane down some hardwood to make a cutting board. The process was easy to do in the plates, cut smoothly. I changed the death approximately a quarter inch each pass and went through without any hesitation. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a price point and quality all in one

For the money this is a very good planer.

I have used it several times and this planer is an excellent choice for small projects. The 3 blade setup is very nice to have for precision work and makes sanding easy. Definitely worth the purchase.

Overall it’s. A good planer. Has some issues not getting a good grip when feeding larger boards but can be helped through. Cut is good and smooth. Feed rate seems good. Good little planer

I like the planner. Just wish it it was a little sturdier. The exciting and inter tables are not sturdy. Need to be stronger.

Very reasonable price. The chip chute/vacuum hook up not designed well. I will have to make some mods to make it work better. The planer seems to plane well. Not super high quality but for the price does a nice job. I have planed ash and maple without much issue. It does draw a heavy current on startup and if you cut too deep. I have it run on an outlet with a shop vac running on same circuit and it would sometimes trip a 20amp breaker. Not ideal especially when in middle of cut. I will probably isolate the vac and planer and up the gauge on the extension chord.

Put new wood on my deck 2 years ago but life got in the way and never sealed it. K8ds staryed getting splinters. Spent 8 hours sanding it the other day but still had rough spots. And was burning through the sandpaper. Purchased this and it has been smooth sailing. Takes off all of the rough and leaves me a nice smooth finish. I did have a few jam ups, but it was my fault. Had a few boards I had to make multiple passes with, and forgot to raise the blades back up before starting a new board. It was just trying to take too big of a bite. Will definitely get my money worth put of this machine.

Works well, so far. I've been just planing pine but it keeps up pretty good. Also,,, it'll plane thinner than it's rated for. 3/8" or slightly thinner
