needed sone boxes and frames as I ran out of medium supers in a hurry. This was the best price around. Easy to put together although I used screws for the boxes rather than the nails supplied. The frames are pretty easy to put together. Took about 10 minutes a box and about 1/2 hour to do the frames. Don't forget to use a quality wood glue on the frames. I like the little window as it's eay to show people what the inside of thehive looks like without disturbing the bees. I also bought deeps as well.

A great starter hive, whilst building I would advise to use glue and screws for the joints on the boxes and frames, keep the boxes square and save the pain of the bottom of the frame getting waxed in and coming off.
Have brought more boxes and hives as I'm very happy with the quality and coating of beeswax

I love that you have finally included the plexiglass observation window with your hives. To date, all of my hive equipment is VEVOR just because of that feature.

Exterior beeswax lasted three weeks. Will need to stain/paint. Endgrain on dovetails will need detailed painting after the wax wears off/ages.
