Extra Crucibles, waste of money

I ordered the extra crucibles when I ordered this as a gift for my dad, but they don’t actually melt anything. Ordered ones off of Amazon to try them out and those actually melted the copper, don’t waste your money on this product, The AI help center is useless too.

Had issues with it starting up. Customer service was okay but took a while. They offered a partial reimbursement but I’m not really sure it was worth not returning for full reimbursement

I don't know what to think I tried to melt copper set the temp higher then the melting point of copper but it would not melt. I don't know if the temp sensor is wrong, but the copper just got very hot and red but very little melting. I have used one of these before and had no trouble melting anything before. Maybe it was a more expensive model, but why should that matter you heat it up tp past the melting point the metal should melt. Needless to say I am not very happy with my purchase!

Bei der ersten Benutzung ist der Boden des eramik tiefes gerissen und der gesamte Inhalt (kupfer) befindet sich am Boden des Ofens Zudem bekam der Ofen daraufhin einen Kurzschluss und ist nun unbrauchbar Nach der ersten Nutzung !

Niestety piec nie nadaje się do topienia złota. Po osiągnięciu maksymalnej temperatury złoto nadal w tyglu który był dostarczony w komplecie nie zostało stopione. Brak możliwości wylania złota z tygla. Może do topienia innych metali nadaje się nie wiem ale ja potrzebowałem do złota i w tym piecu złota nie stopiłem. Tygiel będę musiał rozbić żeby odzyskać złoto.

Crucible leaked all over

Upon first use, when removing the crucible, it was leaking copper out of the bottom of the crucible. It leaked all over the inner chamber, burning a hole. I’ve requested a refund twice and haven’t received a response. Very unhappy!
