It doesn't pump as well as my last pump advertised with the same GPH and its already noisy after two weeks.

It is definitely not a good filter, it gets dirty too quickly, the hoses are difficult to clean, but the worst thing is that it struggles a lot to make it work, you have to pump too much, too tired to get it up and running, I do not recommend it.

I bought this less than a year ago and it started leaking asked for replacement parts and they told me they dont sale the so now im stuck with a less than a year old filter that leaks

Leaks air terribly. You have to lean it side to side to get air to escape. will then run fine for a few days. Sad thing is this is the second canister filter I have purchased from Vevor. On the first I even purchased extended warranty. when it also leaks air to the point of pushing no water, i contacted customer support. They informed me that they would send me $30. Then I informed them that I had over $XXX of fish in my tank and needed a replacement they said i had to send the entire unit, including tubes, and media in the original box. Well i didn't have the original box, plus i bought the 3 year extended WARRANTY! so then i said i just wanted the head gasket O ring. They said they dont make their own parts and offered to send me $50 to have the canister filter repaired. Suckered me twice. Both filters have to be tipped side to side to function for three days max then repeat tipping or bleeding the outlet hose to remove trapped air. Before you suggest priming the orange pump handle-you cant it is vapor locked and you will snap the push rod. Listen to me. If you want a hassle free canister filter, dont buy the grey and orange ones. Still not satisfied with product or customer service.

Unfortunately, it got blocked within 10 days of use. Now sitting idle. I had contacted the Vevor team to send it back before use, but they did not really care.

Unfortunately my motor stopped working after 8 months.

The pump flow is weak, and the motor randomly stops spinning all the time. UPDATE: magnet motor seized in the head of the unit 100% garbage, do not buy. It did not even last a year. UPDATE 2: Vevor honored their warranty and replaced the bad unit, changing from 1 star to 3 for them standing behind their product.

It does the job so far. I clean it up every 2 week and that seem to keep the water clean. With that said there are quite a few things I don't like in this filter. This clasp design on both sides is a pain. One of them will always get on the way when you're trying to remove the pump module. The rotor cover is hard to remove and put back in alignment properly. The fixing suction cups just a pure garbage, they don't hold, I replaced them with my own the next day. The water flow was not that impressive, it creates a flow, but definitely not enough to create proper circulation. Put it in some shallow container, because even with the closed valves some water will spill over and can damage the floor. One of my hose shut off valve is not perfect either, some water is dripping even in closed position. Anyhow, it is useable for now considering the price point, but I would prefer a better quality filter next time.
