Ho comprato questo cavo dopo che il cavo sintetico Bad Land si è rotto dopo alcuni tiri sul mio verricello Badeland 12000 Apex. Ci sono due grandi differenze notevoli sui due cavi da 3/8", il cavo Badlands diventa molto rigido dopo alcuni usi in cui il Vector rimane morbido e maneggevole, il Vector ora ha estratto dal terreno il doppio di tronchi d'albero di quanto avrei potuto fare con il cavo Badlands! Ora il cavo Vevor non è privo di difetti in quanto spuntano piccoli "peli" man mano che viene utilizzato, non sembra influenzare la resistenza del cavo per cui sto tirando dozzine di ceppi di quercia e pino una strada di accesso di circa 8-10 pollici di diametro, la combinazione del Badland Apex 12000 e del cavo sintetico Vevor sembra un abbinamento perfetto.

The rope/kit is well made and is a good price.. however the method of attaching this rope to the winch drum is different to the wire ripe i took off... I had to butcher the synthetic rope to get it to fit..

This line hasn't seen a recovery/load yet, but I've several winches that have, including the one this line went on. It replaced a 3/8" steel cable. There are a couple of things that I noticed that are not really positive or negative, but things for the user to be aware of ahead of time. The first is that this 1/2 line doesn't flatten quite as much as expected, so it lays taller on the spool than expected. Couple that with the 92' length and it will take up more spool than you think. I was able to accommodate it by moving my solenoid box, but if you have an integrated control box or one of those winches with the bridge-type control that can't be removed, be sure you have a lot of space over your 3/8" cable. I had 1.125" (1 1/8") and ate every bit of it and more. So if you're tight or can't make more space, you'll want a shorter rope. The other thing I noticed is that for some reason, the abrasion sleeve is attached at the end of the line. Normally this is free to move so you can lay it over rocks or whatnot, so if you do the types of things that put you in the dirt and rocks, you should be aware that this line doesn't have a floating abrasion sleeve and you might want to add one. This truck is a new home for an old winch, and I'm not sure how it will be used most, but I know a lot of guys are using them out in the woods and rocks, so this is for them. The pull strap really feels like an afterthought, and honestly, like someone saw one on a picture of someone else's product and didn't know why it was there but figured they should add one. It's got that feel about it that it won't be there when you need it and it's thin and flimsy in the hand at about 1/2 the size of the one on my 5k and 8k winches. I know you're not really loading the thing, but it's small enough that with gloves and mud and during actual use, keeping hold of it might become a problem.

Attachment to the drum was easy, and it spooled on fine. I removed the metal clip, leaving just the loop, as I prefer soft shackles to lessen metal in the pull. My only issue is with the protection sleeve, it jams in my warn winch each use. I'm thinking of just removing it, that is why I gave a few 4 stars.
