Nach einem Monat Nutzung hinterlässt der Vevor Bienenstock mit 40 Rähmchen einen gemischten Eindruck. Auf den ersten Blick wirkt er wie eine interessante Lösung für Imker, die ihre Produktionskapazität erweitern möchten. Doch die Erfahrung zeigt, dass nicht alles den Erwartungen entspricht. Montage und Verpackung Der Bienenstock kam gut verpackt an und ließ sich einfach und schnell zusammenbauen – ein klarer Pluspunkt sowohl für erfahrene Imker als auch für Einsteiger. Alle Teile waren ordentlich sortiert, und die Konstruktion ließ sich ohne Schwierigkeiten zusammensetzen. Kundenservice: Ein Positives Highlight Einer der größten Pluspunkte dieses Kaufs war zweifellos der Kundenservice von Vevor. Nach der Feststellung mehrerer beschädigter Teile kontaktierte ich das Unternehmen, das sich umgehend bereit erklärte, Ersatzteile zu liefern – eine seltene und sehr geschätzte Geste in einem Markt, in dem der Kundendienst oft vernachlässigt wird. Probleme und Einschränkungen Trotz des guten Kundenservice darf man nicht übersehen, dass der Bienenstock bereits bei der Lieferung mehrere defekte Teile aufwies. Auch wenn der Support hilfreich war, sollten solche Mängel bei einem Produkt in dieser Preisklasse nicht vorkommen. Ein weiterer kritischer Punkt betrifft die mitgelieferten Kunststoffwaben: Die Bienen zeigten sich zunächst widerständig, was eine manuelle Beschichtung mit geschmolzenem Wachs erforderlich machte. Für weniger erfahrene Imker kann dies eine zusätzliche Herausforderung darstellen. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis Angesichts des Preises – über 120 Euro – hätte man eine höhere Material- und Verarbeitungsqualität erwarten dürfen. Die vorhandenen Mängel und der zusätzliche Arbeitsaufwand relativieren den Preis, insbesondere wenn man bedenkt, dass es auf dem Markt robustere Alternativen zu vergleichbaren oder niedrigeren Preisen gibt.

The deep and the super both parts were hard to connect I had to use force almost broke it please work on fixing it and also messing some small nails for the frames

I found this setup to be well made. It takes some time to assemble all 40 frames and foundation but that is to be expected. I used an air nailer on the corners, but it seemed to be a tight fit without me doing that.The entire setup is coated with wax which means you can’t really paint the outside. I’ll see how they fare this year. Maybe have to sand and paint them for next year if they start to weather. As far as the observation port, if you plan on using it , you definitely need to drill another whole with a screw on both the long sides of the clear plastic. That is a must! It will start to bow in the middle and bees will be be on both sides of it. And of course, in your haste to put the cover back as the bees attack you, the handle or one of the levers will fall off. It has happened to me twice. Also, the wax on the foundation is a very fine spray. It may or may not be enough to encourage them to start drawing comb. I can’t say about that, as I had some wax and applied a liberal amount to them just to be on the safe side. All said, I think it’s a good price for what you get. Especially compared to what you pay at a beekeeping supplier.

Have purchased several times now, this round we were a little disappointed with the quality. Found some frame rails broken, notched too far apart causing foundation to be loose, and missing a couple side arms. The boxes dove tails were hit and miss for alignment and fitment, some box panels were split, and 2 bottom boards were not salvagable due to being broken either during transit or assembly. Ended up scrapping out a total of 2 deep boxes, 4 frames, and 2 bottom boards. With all defects and added work, broke even when compared to purchasing materials and manufacturing myself.

lot of construction required, takes a bit of time, but the quality is there and worth the effort, looks great.

This is my 8th year beekeeping. Never bought a package that the frames didn’t match up. The frame pieces do not match up and require either additional cutting or heavy sanding to put together. Otherwise, it’s a good set, reasonably priced, love the observation windows even tho the girls do not, waxed well.

Hele mooie bijenkast, wel veel werk om in elkaar te zetten. Kunstraad ramen. Alles zit erbij, enkel de vliegplank past niet zo goed maar dit is makkelijk op te lossen. Goede prijst voor zo'n grote kast, de kijkraampjes zijn top. Bestelling duurde wel een stuk langer dan verwacht.

Overall, very good beehive. I found the dovetail joints very tight and had to chisel out from the sides to get the joins to work. Otherwise, good assembly experience.
