I have wanted a bee hive for years but they are as expensive as quality furniture, around $500 and up. I considered building a top bar hive but would have to buy tools. Then I saw this Vevor hive. With a $30 coupon and free shipping the price was almost unbelievable. It arrived totally unassembled but the wood is tightly grained and everything is there. It even came with comb foundation and lightly coated with beeswax. I will recoat the inner woods with more beeswax and paint the outer wood, keep it off the ground and it should last for many years. I am very pleasantly surprised by the quality, size and the price.

Great product

Best deal on a nice you’re going to find Great quality Put a nuc in mid may. Already harvested honey mid July. Bees love it

These Bee Hives were of OK quality. We had issues with the frame assembly because on the shallow frames, the foundations would not stay in. Contacted VEVOR and they quickly sent a video on how to fix the problem by shaving down a piece on each frame to make them work. The solution did solve the problem however it was VERY time consuming and a big disappointment.... Other than that, the hives seem ok. Our bees have moved in and everything is going well...

Takes a little time to assemble but a great value. Good quality and looks great. Bees are happy.

Von der Bestellung bis zur Lieferung und Montage der einzelnen Elemente war alles super und in der Montageanleitung klar und deutlich beschrieben. Artikel ist absolut empfehlenswert.

Nice product

I now have 7 of these hives , one occupied by bees see photo , hoping to populate others next season with swarms. One photo shows a brood chamber on a plastic base, hopefully will entice swarms

The hive is nice overall but some things could be improved: the acrylic window needs more than just 4 screws to fit nicely, it warps a bit and there is space trough bees could crawl out (i fixed this myself by adding more screws than just the 4 in each corner). The bottom board should be upgraded to AV screen board (I had to buy this separately because this decreases varoa by 15% and its a must in my opinion). The frames are nice but the tops that touch each other should be upgraded to square/triangle top so the bees cant glue them together that much. Also when you are assembling the frames make sure you add 1 horizontal nail in each corner so that when you take out the heavy honey filled frames you don't end up with just the top frame board in your hands, the frames need horizontal nails which the assembly guide doesn't show and the instructions should be upgraded with this. The roof is really nicely made and the hive overall is very pleasant to the eye. One more thing, if you got some bees wax at hand while assembling frames, make sure to "paint" the frame foundations with more wax so the bees accept the plastic foundations more easily. Overall, a nice hive ready to go missing only AV bottom board and some kind of feeder to support newly installed package bees.
