The grinder itself is great. The discs they sent were both warped and misshapen making them both unuseable. I contacted customer service. They refunded enough to go down and buy some decent ones from the local Husqvarna dealer. Been using the grinder over a year professionally. It's sharpened probably a thousand chains now without issue.

The nut was completely stripped ( had no threads) and the knob was bent. We where pretty excited to try it out but we had to find a new nut but we have to use a wrench to change the angle.

I have used this sharpener a lot since I got it. It’s amazing how quickly it sharpens previously dull chainsaw blades back to cut like new. The only downside is that it doesn't have incremental stops for changing the angle, which makes initial adjustment to cut proper a bit time consuming and error prone. Still for the price a small issue really. I’m really glad I bought this!

Great sharpener better than expected wish the chain clamp was different but expected it to be built cheaper than it was way better than the harbor freight one

Sharpening disc was broken. They gave me a credit and I ordered a replacement which they do not carry???

Unfortunately looks can be deceiving. Here are the Pros of this grinder. First, the price. It's cheap. On the surface the fit and finish seem to be pretty high quality. The switches are nice size and protected from the metal dust created when grinding, which is a very nice touch. The motor is quiet and powerful, it quickly comes up to speed and it had no problems maintaining speed as I hogged on a rock damaged chain with the grinder fitted with a CBN wheel sourced elsewhere, and the built in lamp works pretty well for illuminating the work. Now for the Cons, which range from inconvenient to downright annoying. The head angle scale on the face of the grinder bracket is quite small and not easy to read. The chain vise is a copy of the original Tecomec and Efco grinders, which is serviceable but not nearly as convenient as the better offered designs of today. The primitive vise centering on this vice isn't a big deal if you only run one gauge, just set it and forget it, but if you run lets say .043, .050, and .063 like I do, it's an Achille's heal That's not an outright con on a grinder at this price range, but it's not a positive either. Just be forewarned. I get around this shortcoming by having multiple grinders set up for the various gauges. An inconvenience is that the spring for the chain stop pawl is so weak that it won't expand enough to keep the nut on the adjustment bolt. This is a tiny, cheap spring, the manufacturer could do better at minimal cost. I will have to source a better alternative locally. The next thing that I find bothersome is that the spring for the head of the grinder is way too weak and it allows to the head to hang just above the chain teeth, and in fact the head dipped down as I was advancing the freshly ground tooth and damaged a previously ground tooth on the opposite side of the chain. GRRRRR.... The next con is a really big one IMO. The whole tilting/rotating base is EXTREMELY hard to get locked down at the desired angles. EXTREMELY. And it cannot be relied upon to hold it's settings. IMO this is an absolute deal breaker. I've literally had about a dozen of this style grounder over the last 40 years and this chain vise is far and away the absolute worst I have encountered. I am going to tear into it and see if I can determine the malfunction(s). Hopefully it is something that I can clean up with judicious filing or sanding, but right now, it's hard to call this grinder serviceable. Worst case scenario is that I will buy a new vise....and head spring, from one of the other grinder companies. Even if I have to do that, this grinder is probably still worth $99.

Directions are very hard to follow and I haven't been able to use this as it's intended. I will have to see if I can figure it out or ask a friend.

This product has a nice feel and plenty of power. Takes a minute to get it setup right, but it gives a fast, consistent result. My chains cut so much better than they usually do after sharpening. There are some components that seem a little lightweight. They seem to function though. My main concern was the slight oscillation of the stone. I think the arbor shaft is bent or the stone holder is not straight. In fairness Vevor offered to explore the issue if I sent videos, but I just haven't had time.
