CNC Dividing Head 100 mm
The stock 4th axis on my Stepcraft M.1000 has always worked great but it only has a NEMA 17 stepper motor. So it's limited to smaller projects. I needed to have something with more torque and speed for a spindle project and I took a chance with this kit because of the great price compared to other options I was looking at. Plus it touted a more powerful NEMA 23 stepper motor which my system uses for the other 3 axes. It took a bit of trial and error to get the wiring to my 4th axis controller right and then to configure it properly in UCCNC. It was worth it after I got it up and running. I was able to cut the job time on this project in half! The chuck and tailstock are heavy duty and great quality. I'm impressed with this surprising new addition to my system.

Our dividing head features the 4th axis of the CNC rotary axis, a reduction ratio of 6:1 and a Nema23 two-phase stepper motor, offering unsurpassed precision over a wider range of indexing angles.
Equipped with a tailstock featuring an MT2 taper and a travel range of 0 to 1.6 inches/40 mm, our milling head ensures precise positioning during cutting, engraving and other high-precision applications, thus improving your machining quality.
The hollow shaft design of our indexing head provides an internal passage, making machining more flexible and precise. Machining a wide variety of shapes becomes easier, opening up endless possibilities for your machining tasks.
Our dividing head has 3 internal and 3 external jaws. Changing the jaws is extremely easy with the included T-wrench and ensures a secure hold for high-precision machining.
In addition to a wide range of accessories, we offer an additional signal cable. Simply connect this cable between the CNC rotary table and its controller. It ensures precise control over the rotation and other operations of the indexing head.
