The taper taps have a smaller taper at the tip, making them better suited for initial thread cutting. These taps are also suitable for resurfacing and thread repair, producing cleaner and smoother threads.
The storage case features pearl cotton padding, which provides excellent shock absorption and damping properties, effectively reducing vibrations and impacts during transport and thus protecting the taps and dies from damage.
