Q: How do I choosethe right cable?
A: First, ensure that the cable's current and voltage ratings match the solar system's specifications. This cable has a cross-sectional area of 10 AWG.
Q: What precautions should be taken when extending the cable for solar panels?
A: ① Ensure secure connections to avoid contact problems and further power outages. ② Regularly check cables for damage or wear. Replace them immediately if any problems are found. ③ For extended outdoor use, choose appropriate protective devices to prevent animals from chewing through cables or causing other damage.
Q: How do I properly install extension cables for solar panels to ensure optimal performance?
A: Before installation, ensure all connections are dry and clean to prevent poor contact and potential problems. Also, avoid excessive bending of the cable, as this can damage the internal wires. The cable should be securely fastened to prevent movement and stretching. Furthermore, minimize cable slack and lay it flat to reduce the likelihood of electrical faults.
