I picked up this VEVOR 4-way manifold gauge set to have a good all-around set of gauges on hand, and I’m very happy with it so far. The gauges are easy to read, the controls operate smoothly, and the overall set feels much more substantial than I expected for the price.
The 5-foot hoses are a nice length and give plenty of room to work without having to keep everything right beside the vehicle or equipment. The included couplers and fittings are also convenient, especially when working on different systems.
I really like having four-way control on the manifold. It makes connecting the vacuum pump, refrigerant supply, and system much easier and gives you good control over the evacuation and charging process.
The gauges are clear and easy to monitor while working, and having the different refrigerant scales available makes this set useful for a variety of applications. I also like that it comes with the accessories needed to get started instead of having to purchase everything separately.
The manifold itself feels solid and the valves have a good feel when opening and closing. The hoses also seem well made and are flexible enough to work with without constantly fighting them.
For anyone doing automotive A/C work, HVAC maintenance, or just wanting a capable manifold set around the shop, this is a good setup. It gives you a lot of functionality for the money without feeling like a cheap throwaway tool.
Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. It has everything I need for the A/C work I’m doing, and having a complete 4-way set with the hoses, couplers, and fittings makes it a very useful addition to the toolbox.
