So far so good. I haven't really had to make this thing grunt on anything that took more than 2000lbs of pull yet, but it has safely loaded & unloaded several boat trailers & a couple of economy cars on my trailer so far, and hasn't given me any problems at all.

Chris McGraw they should put better foam in this box to protect it in case of heavy drops and take the bolts out that hold it together. All it takes is one pressure point to break that housing.

finally received winched was dropped very hard broke the housing on it. They might need to just take the bolts out when they’re shipping it because if it puts any pressure on it, it’ll break the housing. Any good mechanical minded person could put the bolts back in after they received, it might help out with damage every time it’s dropped.
