Install was simple: 8" flex duct, two clamps, a short straight run, and it was moving air in minutes. The EC motor + speed controller is the win here—you can dial it from a whisper to full pull without the buzzing you get from cheap rheostats. Noise is low for the airflow, and vibration is minimal once you hang it with rubber straps. After sealing the joints with foil tape, it keeps a steady draft out of the room and clears haze fast. Tips: keep the intake run short and smooth, check the airflow arrow before mounting, and add a pre-filter if you’re pulling dust. For the price, this is a lot of fan. I’d love a longer power cord and a built-in hanging kit, but those are easy fixes. Overall, great value for shop, paint area, 3D print enclosure, or general HVAC assist

I bought this fan to use as an exhaust fan in my bathroom. The existing fan struggled to remove steam and moisture after a shower. Not this one! It's powerful and moderately quiet, but it is installed in the adjoining room, so noise is not an issue. It connected easily to 4" ABS pipe, and now my bathroom is dry and odour-free. The speed control was a bonus. Thank you, Vevor!

I have used this item to extract air from my cigar lounge. The room is 18' X 15' with a ceiling height of 9'. It has proven to be extremely effective at keeping the room smoke free when set to level 6 (max level is 10). The noise level is very acceptable even at 10. My fan/blower unit is housed in a waterproof plastic box outside on the roof. I can highly recommend this product. It took me a lot of time to build my extraction ducting layout but well worth it, no more stale cigar smell next morning.
