It took a while to get to reviewing this because I mismeasured the window I wanted to put it in, only to find it didn't quite fit when it arrived (entirely my fault). Now I have a panel built to fit it into a larger space and it works very well. It comes with everything you need to attach it to a wall, either on the inside or the outside. What I did was build a wood panel to fit it into a window frame and screwed it to the window frame with my own screws, and it's working very well for me. The trickiest part of my installation was building a panel that fit the space, with a hole in the middle that snugly fit the fan. If you fit the fan and plug it in then it will spin and do all the things you'd expect a fan to do. It also comes with a controller that measures temperature and humidity, so you can configure it to activate based on temperature going too high or too low or humidity going too high or too low. You can combine the options, so it activates if it gets too warm or if it gets too cold or if the humidity goes outside the range you determine. Or you can tell it to be "on" or "off", which are pretty self-explanatory. The controller can control two fans, although it's hard to see that being hugely helpful unless one of the fans has a long lead to extend the distance between the fan and the controller. If you have a space big enough to put two fans in it, and putting them more or less side by side makes sense, you can control them both. I guess you might use that if you're working with the biggest fan option and still need something more powerful. The fan will adjust its speed based on how far out of the acceptable zone the air has become. When I first set it up the reported humidity was 67% and I set the target to be 60%. It ran at maximum speed for a time and then, as the humidity dropped, it gradually slowed down until it hit the target humidity and turned itself off. Then the humidity slowly started to rise and it gradually increased its speed to correct it. I

Ce ventilateur et très Silencieux et facile d'utilisation la conception et de bonnes qualités. je suis satisfait de cette achat, pas de points négatifs pour le moment peut-être les volets qui claquent lorsqu'ils y a du vent mais c'est vraiment le seul reproche que je puisse faire,donc je recommande ce ventilateur

I love that this is "plug in play" when possible I prefer not to tamper with hardwired electrical appliances, I know my limits. This was a simple to install solution for me. It is noticeable when it is running but not what I would call "loud" for this kind of appliance.

My dogs have their own house for when I'm not home. It's a remodeled single-wide trailer and their area measures 35'x14'. The dogs are able to run in and out to the yard as they please using dog doors, but that means they're constantly tracking in moisture in the forms of rain, mud, or snow. This makes their house humid, so I ordered the VEVOR Shutter Exhaust Fan, 12" with Temperature Humidity Controller to help with this. The fan is easy to install and operate and is actually working to reduce the humidity in the house! I love that it has a sensor and doesn't have to run non-stop. This fan works well and I highly recommend it!

J'ai acheté ce produit pour extraire la chaleur dans un petit abris de jardin en PVC me servant de local technique de piscine car la température en plein soleil et en pleine chaleur atteignait des valeurs très élevées, 40 à 45°C pour des températures extérieure autour 30°C environ. Avec cet extracteur, la température à l'intérieur est à peine plus élevée que la température extérieur. Avec les fortes chaleurs de ces derniers jours, avec quasiment 40 °C dehors, la température intérieure est montée au max à 43°C. Les seuils de déclenchement sont faciles à régler (température haute, basse, % d'humidité haut et bas). La vitesse de la ventilation est réglable et il y a un bon débit (pour celui que j'ai choisi). Donc pour moi, c'est plutôt concluant et je suis très satisfait de ce produit. A voir dans le temps...

The unit was easy to install. I placed the unit in a window I already had in the greenhouse, so I had to make a custom mounting for it - no problems. The power cord is not super long so i needed an extension cord to use in my greenhouse. I must admit to being confused as to the point of the "low-temp" setting on the controller. When I set the high-temp to 80F the fan kicks on when the sensor reads 80F or above - fine, that's expected. But when I set the low-temp to 70F, the fan does NOT turn off at 70F or below! The low-temp setting is essentially useless as far as I can tell - I ended up just turning off the low-temp setting. The is no prgrammable hysteris feature. Also, be sure to turn off the high and low humidity settings unless you need them.

I really liked the quality, and how it works and so silent ! Go for it ! I have used it in my MANCAVE for smoking cigars with friends and in front of the basement window ! It absorbs and throw out all the smoke in minutes !

This is working like a champ in our new greenhouse… it’s quiet and does that job! Everything we get from Ve or is great!
