Saw does not go faster than 500 rpm
had high hopes, but, not sure yet. Saw was a bit beat up, the guard binds, and upon attempting first cut, discovered saw reached max 500 rpm and 250watts, regardless of speed setting between 750 and max. Have a ticket in, and pretty confident Vevor will fix. As is, saw is unusable, so cannot give it a rating better than zero.

The motor was bad. Loud noise when running, then smoke came from the motor.

Tuc Pham
Hi Technical support,
My name is Tuc. I want to express about the quality of this chop saw: this is the second time to cut the mild metal. It moved so slowly only 500Rpm vs 2000Rpm as advertised, so weak. Can you help me out with this issue please. Thank you x much. Tuc.

SAW HAS INCORRECT WIRING FOR 240V
the original listing of the saw DID NOT say it was a 240V product. I have pictures of before they changed the listing after I made my return ticket. I'll add said pictures. This saw has a motor that needs a 240 power supply yet comes with a 2 prong cord. IF you are in the US you are screwed and won't be able to use this with 110v. you'll overload the motor. product is said to be adjustable rpm (750-1200rpm) but because under power it won't go any faster that 550rpm and that is just turning it on and not cutting ANY material. imagine trying to cut material and it gets loaded. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. THEY WILL ARGUE AND SAY THAT IS CORRECT WIRING AND THAT YOU NEED THE PROPER POWER SOURCE. THEY WILL NOT ADMIT FAULT AND WON'T ISSUE A REFUND OR HOW TO RETURN THE PRODUCT. I have a shop with 240v supply as i weld, have a big air compressor and such. this is not the issue the product is not setup for U.S. electrical standards.

Mr
This is a 220 volt saw it came wired with a standard 110 volt household power cord. It came with a broken screw on the blade guard. Had to drill out broken screw and replace before I could use the saw. I live in the United States it comes with a built in ruler and it was in metric which is useless to me.

Do not buy this saw if you live in North America
I received the saw and noticed it would only run at 525 rpm when it should be adjustable from 750-1200rpm. I contacted Vevor about this and they took a week just to get a response. They told me it's because the saw is 240v. I never would have guessed since the saw comes with a standard 2 prong 120v plug, so I checked the label on the saw and confirmed it says 240v. Also, when I bought the saw, the description did not say 240v but now it does. Anyone buying this saw in North America is going to plug it into the 120v outlet at their house and it's only gonna go 500ish rpm. Whether they notice or not, it isn't right. This saw is designed for the Asian market where a standard type A plug is used for 240v. Took over 3 weeks of back and forth in a chat session to get a refund.....
Vevor is great if you don't have any problems with the products. If you do have problems, good luck with their customer service. You can't talk to anyone and you may get one half ass response a day if your lucky.

Mr.
Would leave zero stars if possible. This item literally cannot be used. It has a 120V plug and a 240V motor. I have photos I would attach but their website won’t work right either. Instructions clearly say using at the wrong voltage will result in electric motor failure. How do you propose I connect this to the proper voltage VEVOR? I did receive a full refund after several weeks of back and forth and refusing to take partial refunds repeatedly for an item that can’t be used anywhere on the planet. So yay for that.
