I had to cut a channel in my slab to run electricity to my kitchen island and this saw worked beautifully. Got the job done for a great price. Not much to compare it to since I have not done many cuts like that in the past but this saw worked very well. Simple and to the point without a bunch of fancy features.

Pretty good deal and quality, I did cut the basement floor, and it worked pretty well. Planning to use for masonry work around the house. I used to have a Stihl 14 inch one and I was tired of doing maintenance. This will last longer and works pretty well.

So the power I'd say is like 80% of the high dollar units, it will cut through a 4 inch slab like butter. I cut through a foundation for an egress window that was like 9" thick (cut from both sides) I'd say it was *slightly* under powered for that job and the thing weighs about as much as an elephant so if you're a smaller guy with a bigger job you may just want to go rent a gas powered one but for the price of this thing it's pretty much a no brainer I'd buy it 10 times in a row before I spent thousands of dollars on another higher priced name brand one. Absolutely worth the money.

I used it once to cut asphalt, and it worked very well. The only other purchase I considered cost 2/3 as much, and the depth of cut was less than half as much. I think there should be better shrouding to keep dirt away from the motor and to make cleaning easier. Also, I think they could have made the saw adaptable to a guide to achieve straighter cuts. But overall this was an excellent buy.

Excellent machine comes with a very good quality blade. Have used it wet cutting covering a total of 36hrs without ant hitches

It works as expected. As others have mentioned, it will trip a 15 or 20 amp breaker if you push too hard. If you let the weight of the saw do the cutting, you'll have no issues. I would buy this saw again.

It works as needed, bogs a little when you get ripping, but be patient and it works great!
