Doug Sager Worth every penny!
Normally, I would invest I'm big brand names in tools, especially if I have a use for it , multiple times a year.
I took a gamble with this unit, simply for the fact, I may in only use once every couple years, and also, it cost more to rent one of these from those big box stores.
I was indeed very impressed with it's performance and quality! Started on the second pull, then first pull everyone once warm. One tank of gas was used while digging 12 - 8" holes, at 36" depth. I would definitely recommend this post digger.

gregfeir Good price and quality seems good
Worked great! For the most part, I was going through clay that had some rocks and roots mixed in. You have to really hang on and don't push too hard or it'll twist your arms around when you run into something!

wjammons Great machine
Great product, strong engine and digs very easy. digging in North Carolina red clay can be a challenge but this machine does the job every time. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to buy an auger. You cannot beat the value for the cost of it.
