I would give these climbing spurs zero stars if that were an option. I used them for approximately two minutes during their very first use before one of the spurs broke at the top screw. As I have been going through financial problems this was my option for affordable equipment. This is climbing equipment, where equipment failure can have extremely serious consequences. If this had happened while I was at full height in a tree, I could have suffered a serious injury or potentially been killed. I am extremely disappointed that a product designed for climbing failed almost immediately and on its first use. I no longer feel these spurs are safe or trustworthy. I strongly recommend that the manufacturer investigate this failure as a serious safety concern. I will not be using these again and am requesting a full refund.

First off this actually works really well besides the finger print reader. But, it is extremely hard to install because you have to take the slider out of the box and reach all the way to the back of the box to unplug a tiny two wire plug. I had to have my wife plug it back in because my hands were too big (my hands are normal sized for a 5'9" male). But you need to do all that because the mounting bracket is held on by two thumb screws that are only accessible from the inside. I also had to cut some of the foam out to fit my clock with a streamlight attachment. But I like it.

Easy to use but first climb pads ripped right out but put some shoe goo on the inside let it dry and they work perfectly my advice before u rip ur legs to shreds tear the pad out and glue that bad boy in save your legs climb high stay safe

Well I cannot believe how cheap these are but there are some issues as I do not have a heel on my boots so they walk off the back of my soles and stick out the back of the boot so I can no longer stay in the tree! They really need a second strap that keeps the big steel frame under your foot and not let it walk back.

They are very uncomfortable and the strap stretches too much needs to be leather or at least made stronger material

The belt has lousy cinch straps making it difficult to keep up on the waist. D-rings are too far rearward for comfortable wea and flip rope operation.. The tree Gaffs, uses plastic boot straps, they secure the boots ok, but allow the boot to walk in the saddle.

Well 1rst tryed to ajust screws stripped so I replace then bottom strap barly made it over my boot then today side of one broke off will send u pic
