Metal working has been a big hobby of mine for almost 30 years. Always wanted a mag drill but couldn't justify the price. Was skeptical but figured It was worth the gamble for the price, this thing is awesome. The model I purchased has variable speed and reverse it also claimed to be able to cut 2" diameter holes. I purchased a set of annular cutters that go up to 2" but was doubtful it would be able to cut 2". I was beyond surprised when it easily did through quarter plate. I've cut over 40 holes with the 3/4" cutter in 1/2" plate which came with the drill and it's still sharp enough to keep cutting. If your thinking about buying one I suggest you do it, you won't regret it

This thing for the money is legit, it is a solid cast housing, and drills 2" holes with annular cutters like a dream. 10/10 would recommend to anyone that builds with metal at all.

Fantastic quality out of the box - especially for the money. This is incredibly helpful around the shop as a mobile small drill press for accurate and clean holes. The annular cutters that come with are sharp, accurate, and cut great. This machine specifically has variable speed and the largest clearance and it is WELL worth it. Did over 100 5/8 holes for a fixture table on this machine day one and did it with no complaints. The machine does get very hot if you leave the magnet on, so don’t forget it plugged in overnight!

Great Drill. I put 5/8” several holes in a welding table to create a fixture table. So far so good.

I’m very satisfied with this tool – everything was exactly as described. The drill is sturdy, stable, and precise, and the magnetic base provides excellent safety and control during operation. First impression good, made a small adjustment to side steel guides supporting drilling lathe due to a sharp top edge digging into the aluminium rail making small shavings. Once lightly rounded off, this was corrected preventing shaving generation. One particular element me having a 220V machine was the adjustable speed control. I suspect that the speed control circuit has been designed for 110V as any setting above 50% generate a chuck/motor speed way beyond reasonable speeds for drilling and coring. Actually lowest setting generate a speed to high for larger sized core bits. Have not investigated if a 110V/220V selector is available to change over. Beyond this, the machine and magnet works flawlessly.

Schnelle Lieferung, Maschine macht einen wertigen Eindruck. Habe noch nicht damit gearbeitet. Die Verpackung ist für das Gewicht zu schwach an der Bodenseite. Verpackung beschädigt Maschine nicht. Kaufe hier wieder.
