The reason for buying was because I was looking for somebody to drill 5 holes of 100mm through a wall that is 40cm thick. The quote on this was 70€ per hole. So I went online and bought this one I am more than happy that I did so. Great money for value. It has enough power, the drill bit can cut through 5 - 6 mm of steel rebar. Drilled through 5 holes so far I believe it can do a lot more.

Great little machine has plenty of power. I may install some sort of rod or something for cable management, you actively need to manage the water and power cable because they want to rub against the core bit while the tool is in use because of where they feed into the machine. Also the base really doesn't need female threaded holes for the included bolts. It would be nice if the bolts just slid right through instead of having to unscrew them after each hole you drill. Not really complaints, just suggestions for future improvements. For the price this thing is definitely worth it and I would strongly recommend it if your on a budget.

Facile d'emploi. Fait le travail assez facilement une fois qu'on l'a fixée au mur avec des goujons.On ne risque pas de se faire mal au poignet et c'est très appréciable. Je ne suis pas sur de la qualité sur les matériaux de la carotteuse car au bout de 2 jours dehors mais protégé par un plastique, (temps qu'il a fallu pour racheter une rallonge de 26cm), certains boulons avaient déjà commencé à rouiller. Gros nettoyage à l'air comprimé et plus pour chasser l'eau restante et graissage toutes les parties accessibles comme les glissières. Je rachèterais sans souci si j'avais à refaire un carottage et que je n'avais qu'un percuteur.

tres agréablement surpris de la qualité à la réception, j'ai percé 2 trous avec la caroote de 105 d'origne dans une dale de 5 cm avec poutrelle hourdis, ainsi que dans du grés, pas de souci, il faudra fixer la machine pour eviter de tourner autour !! 2 troux avec une carotte de 60. La commande pour la mise en marche est trés basic mais fonctionne. le moteur peine un peu avec la carotte de 105mm

Drilled 10 4.25" diameter holes in my retaining wall at depth of 9" each. There were not many instructions to put it together, fortunately, it didn't really need it. They ship it a certain way, you have to take it slightly apart and put it back together the right way. The feet go on the "front" of the pedestal. The feet were essentially useless for me (though they would be great in most other scenarios). It would have been a great little addition if they had included the $4.00 garden hose adapter you need for the water. Additionally, a 1 1/4 to 5/8 attachment would have been great. I also wasn't sure what two of the pieces were for (they looked sort of like fuses, but I have no idea what they are). Aside from all of that, it was GREAT! I have NEVER drilled a core out in my life and I got 10 with this one core bit and core drill and they were exceptional. I DID predrill, though. I used a concrete bit in my hammer drill where I wanted the hole and a "throw away" 4.25" hole saw to score the blocks where I wanted the holes. It helped me line things up perfectly. Go SLOW at first. The big will catch on the ground if you go too quickly. So just take your time. Once you get a bit deeper into the core, you can push it a bit faster because the bit has the support from the walls. But until you get down a bit, it'll catch and (if you're not standing on the drill plate on the back) throw you around. Make sure to TURN OFF the machine before pushing the reset button. Always restart from scratch. Turn everything off, reset position, buttons, etc. Then start. 5 Stars because it did exactly what I needed it to do without any additional needs, saved thousands of dollars, and looks like it'd be able to do it for a lot longer.
