I received this drill press yesterday. It was packaged very well. It was simple to put together. It was probably half an hour.
I mounted it to my workbench with 1/2-inch bolts. I put a piece of round stock that I had just turned in my lathe. I know that it was straight.
I mounted my dial indicator to the table, and the runout was negligible. If the needle moved, my eyes didn't see it.
I will recommend this to all my friends and family.
For the price, it can't be beat.
