I bought my wheel to train my throwing sjkills and it works perfectly for that purpose. I haven’t tried to throw bigger things on it. The only thing that’s not very impressive is the pedal for speed, it’s very light weight and sometimes it get stuck a in a slow speed until I give it a light putsch. I will also find something that helps I stand still so it won’t glide away from me on the floor. This is not a big problem though, only a problem that’s easily solved. A great product in general. Can recommend.

Amazing price. Hobby level use for us. The price allowed us to try pottery without having to sell another child. I will say the tiny ridges are odd, definitely unnecessary and not industry standard.

I’ve had the 450w, 14” wheel for a few weeks now and wanted to use it before I really gave it a review. It’s AMAZING! I had a minor problem when it first arrived as the pedal speed wasn’t working properly but it was a very simple fix that I was able to do myself. As a leftie, I love having the option to change directions — not all wheels have this. Also, it is very sturdy and I am easily able to throw 1-2lbs (which is all I’ve attempted so far). The one drawback is that there aren’t any bat pin holes BUT I plan to just use a bat on a chamois cloth. I haven’t tried it yet but I’ve done that at my community studio so I don’t anticipate any issues. The splash pan was a bit difficult to get off initially but I’ve figured out how to use it so I don’t have to clasp and unclasp every time. This is a really great wheel and the price is EXCELLENT. It is the perfect addition to my home studio. I am very curious about their small household pottery kiln! I hope to try that next!! Get this wheel! You will be glad you did!!

Great wheel for the price. I went with this 11 inch as it has 450 watt motor. It's belt driven and does not slow down at all. It can be operated with both buttons or paddle bar. I actually prefer the handle lever rather than the foot paddle. I am left handed and my wife is right. You can choose to spin the wheel clockwise (left handed) or right handed. Very happy with the investment as a beginner potter. Next I will buy the kiln once the price is right

I really recommend because it is a Great product. It came quick and safe. Verry well constructed and you can't find a better price.
