Never used this stuff before but we wanted to bring in a lot of crushed concrete for a driveway and wanted to try this to keep it on top of the dirt. We were a little bit short on fabric so I used some typical landscape fabric from my local home repair store to fill in a spot. Well when the big dump truck with tons of rock drove over it, the VEVOR fabric held strong with just some ruts pressed in from the wheels. But the store bought patch I put under there tore and punctured from the wheels crushing it into the small rocks and sticks under the fabric. The Vevor stuff performed much better.

Used this fabric for dirt road preparation. So far, it withstood super nicely. Dumped quite a bit of road base on it. It weathered the first rain season very nicely. The dirt road become usable during heavy rainy season.The soil and road base remained separated for last one year. It has worked super well for me. Spent about $3000 on purchase of the fabric. It is definitely worth it.

This product does what I need it to do. Be aware, though, that the product is quite thin, and if you are putting it on an area of grass or weeds, stems and leaves will likely pierce through the fabric once installed. If I could purchase again, I would choose one of the nonwoven geotextile options, since these are thicker and more difficult for weeds to penetrate.

If you have to use a barrier, this is the one to get. Durable, flexible, and does what it's supposed to do. Under rocks, over dirt, etc. it is the perfect help for coverage needed.
