I bought this awning for our pop up camper. After shopping for canopies from camper stores, and seeing prices that were literally 10X as much as the this canopy, I decided for the money, I would give this one a try. One trip to the hardware store, and about one hour of work, we had a new awning. This Vevor awning is so much more user friendly than setting up with poles, ropes and stakes. It's so convenient to just crank out the awning. It did great through a couple of storms with strong winds. Saving time and money, that's what I call a win- win.

I've been using this awning to cover my bike, and it definitely does the job! It's a bit finicky to assemble, but once it's installed, that baby ain't going anywhere. The wind and rain has been pretty brutal lately, yet it still stands strong.

I don't think I would pay full price but am happy with the sale price. As others have said, the instructions are not as clear as they should be. I almost took one star off for that. However, I'm so happy with this 13ft retractable awning, I still gave it five stars anyway. We put it together last week but then finally got it mounted today. The 13 foot is VERY heavy. Definitely needed two people to mount it. Many of the instructions need to be clearer. However, the most important one is regarding the extender arm safety wraps. We finally realized the instructions mean NOT to remove the arm wraps until FIRST securing them with the bolts on the backstop. It seems like they might not go on those bolts but they CAN move to the proper position to get those bolts secured BEFORE removing the safety wraps.

It’s a little hard to figure out the instructions but once you get it the build goes pretty fast. Make sure you get it attached to the studs or the structural supports. The 12x10 moves in the wind and you definitely want it secured. As far as operation, it works flawlessly no issues and is operated daily.

These awnings are awesome, but I didn't realize it came in many pieces that needed to be put together, so plan on spending some time assembling it. The instructions are not the easiest to follow, but I managed to assemble it and put it up myself in about an hour. The height and angle of the awning is adjustable and it comes with a privacy cover if you need it. Overall, I'm very satisfied and would definitely buy it again. Thanks, Vevor!

Wir sind wirklich begeistert von der Markise,der Preis und die Qualität sind wirklich sehr gut. Das einzige was ich bemängeln könnte wäre die Beschreibung bzw. die Anleitung . Aber sonst sind wir wirklich sehr zufrieden!

Nice product, does what it advertises. A few quality control issues kept me from giving it 5 stars: First, beware of tightening the clamps too much on the upright support posts. The plastic will show white stress marks, a precursor to eventual material failure.The topmost clamps that fit into the ends of the top roller tube will not need much tightening to keep them from turning inward or outward, because the attachment to the roller tube will by itself hold the clamps in the proper orientation. Use just enough tightness to keep them and the roller tube from drifting down on the posts. Actually, once your installation is done, an extra screw installed through the clamp and the upright post will guarantee your roller never slides down. Second, the last pieces secured on each end of the roller tube (the d-washer and the shiny cap nut) leave too much looseness. That allows quicker wearing and distorting of the plastic bearing surfaces between the clamp and the roller tube. Before installing the awning, I put certain thicknesses of washers in that clamp-to-d-washer space to eliminate that way-too-loose fit. There should be the tiniest wiggle possible between the black support clamp and the d-washer, once that cap nut is tightened, so you can easily turn the washer(s) you added. If there is no wiggle room, it will be quite difficult to turn the manual crank handle to roll up or roll out the shade! Finally, the sewing on 2 velcro tabs at the ends of the security screen was poorly done, making the velcro only half effective. Actually, some velcro with more aggressive grabbing power would be better. Vevor, I offer you my services in product improvement for a very modest fee!
