We purchased the other 5M bell tent option a few years ago, the lighter color tent with the shorter sides, and it was great! It has a rubberized bottom, a central entrance and made of thick cotton. Really impressive quality for its price and lasted two years of continuous full sun use with a hot stove or diesel heater in the winter. We also received a lot of comments on how high end the OG 5m bell tents looked. We were excited to see these yurt style tents pop up as they had higher sides and would create more usable space for our guests. We did not get what we hoped for based on our previous experience.
The Positives: There is a neat feature at the top that vents hot air and immediately cools the tent by 10 degrees when opened! All the windows are incredibly ventilating and allow the tent to stay cool in hot temps and allows you to see out. There is more usable space as the sides are taller on this new yurt version. The top and sides also handled a few days of rain really well.
The negatives: There is no central entry as every window can also be a door and visa versa. I dont know why this bothers me, but it does. The stakes are not as thick or sturdy as what came with the cotton bell tent. We had to buy additional stakes that would hold the tension needed for this tent especially after a few days of rain, they all popped out of the ground. Finally, my biggest gripe is the floor is a thin poly that is not waterproof or durable. It was saturated during the rain because we are on a sand base, so this is probably less of an issue if you are posted up on a deck. We ended up purchasing additional rugs to help protect the floor as they feel paper thin. There is no dedicated electrical cord entry, so you have to run it through one of the window/doors. Finally, they do not look as nice as the other 5M Bells look. from the color to the style to the fabrics, these yurts just come off as cheaper.
We did contact customer service about the floor and they were great! They helped us resolve the issue, but I wanted to put this here for anyone considering between the two tents. If the white tent still has the rubberized bottom then it is a better value over the tan yurt.

La lona de la tienda se ha rajado. La punta de arriba se ha descosido y también hay una cremallera descosida. Que puedo hacer?

Not a bad tent
16,4 piedi (Palo Laterale)
Used when the temps were below 0c at night, probably not the best tent for cold weather should be great a littler earlier in fall. Easy setup. The roof cap opens and dances around when it’s windy so it’s hard to hold heat on windy days but for the price it works good

For the money it’s pretty darn good. A word of caution, make sure you know what size and style you want before you order because returning is next to impossible. Just forget about it. You push the buy now button this baby is yours there is no sending it back! Do not believe for a second that this thing is returnable. It is not.

Doesn’t hold up
16,4 piedi (Palo Laterale)
Set up was easy and the only issue I had was the hooks for the poles were not sown on all the way. Half the loop was not even attached to the tent.
Came back after a morning hunt and the bottom loops for the tent stakes pulled right off the tent in a 5 mph wind.

Descent for the money, with a few modifications
16,4 piedi (Palo Laterale)
Seems to be a descent tent, but I’ve only used it twice and it hasn’t been through any bad weather yet, so I’m giving it 3 stars. If it keeps me warm and dry this winter, I will give it 4.
Good:
1. Extremely easy to set up for such a large tent. Took me about 20 minutes by myself.
2. Huge! You can fit a family of elephants in this thing! Seriously, it is roomy.
3. Seems sturdy in the wind and I don’t foresee any issues outside of a significant weather event.
Bad:
1. The plastic tensioning buckles are cheap and one has broken already. I will be replacing the webbing and plastic buckles with some quality rope the next time I set the tent up.
2. Zippers seem undersized and cheap. I suggest lubricating them and being gentle with them.
All in all, seems to be a descent tent for the money. I am going to treat it with some waterproofing, but I do that with all of my tents about once a year.
