Works very well - lets rain and water in, but NO weeds up through it. I carry a small butane torch with me to seal any edges that I cut. It WILL fray and unravel unless you seal (lightly melt) the deges. I also use a torch to make small holes to put my plants in. Cutting leaves frayed edge and a potential mess.

I love this landscaping fabric. It’s the best product I’ve ever seen for doing this type of work. Most of the ones that you find in the big box stores after about a year it falls apart and weeds are popping up through it. I use this landscaping fabric on my fire pit area and it’s been two years and still no weeds coming through it so I decided to put it in other areas around my property.

I ordered double in case it was thinner and wouldn’t hold up, but when it came in it was thick and Heavy Duty!! I used it under my gravel driveway and 6 plus months later it is holding up! I have had concrete trucks and diesel trucks delivering materials with no issues.
I was looking at this fabric for $500-$1500 and so I figured if I need double or even triple layer it would still be less expensive, no need one layer was all I needed!

Great product combination. Ground cover fabric is commercial- grade and exactly what I need for driveway base cover. matched with 3" geo-cell on top for total of 4 1/2" gravel infill. here is a final layout before gravel comes tomorrow.

Good quality product however, I discovered after laying it out and pinning it, that it does shrink once wet and the sun hits it. Dont install too tightly if over lapping edges for a wide area. I am also finding, guessing, as a result of the shrinka/stretching that weeds are actually coming through it in random areas.
