I bought this to scope sewer lines for breaks. It works great. My ONLY complaint is that I wish it had distance measures printed on the cable. I had to put my own on in order to tell where the breaks were. Otherwise, no complaints and great price.

I bought this camera system to be able to inspect my own pipes. I live in southwest Florida and my iron pipes under the house are 45 years old. I have an easily accessible, clean out near the septic, and tried feeding a 50 foot snake in From that side to open a blockage. I could feed it in the main line and verified with another person listening in the house that it was getting all the way to the furthest toilet. The last time I had a blockage, we hired one of the over advertised big players in southwest Florida to come and clear it, and they insisted the only way to clear it was to get on the roof and feed a auger down from the top… That definitely cleared it, but only at the cost of having a 400 pound plumber and his 150 pound power auger traipsing across my new Roof and with a bill for $950. I decided I’ll be damned if I’ll pay these jokers to come and run an auger through my . I decided I’ll be damned if I’ll pay these jokers to come and run a auger through my drain at $450 an hour.I was able to clearly see the plug from the clean out entrance with this camera. It worked perfectly. I went to Home Depot and rented an auger for four hours for about $40 and fixed it myself. I will have this camera for the next time, and I know for sure that my pipes aren’t “ corroded like all of them are” as the plumber suggested, trying to get me to spend $16,000 to have them relined. Money well spent.

I am surprised by the quality of this device. Works better than I expected. Camera pics are plenty clear enough to give a good view of sewer line issues. Absolutely buy the one with the self-leveling option. Works flawlessly! Cable is stiff enough to fairly easily push it down 100+ feet of line giving a nice picture the whole time. Cable has just the right amount of stiffness and flexibility to handle most all pipe bends and/or long straight stretches. Instructions could be a bit clearer on how to use the screen module. But after playing with it a bit before putting it to work, it became clearer how to use the different functions. Do wish the movie function had a longer record time. Only runs 2 minutes and then shuts off, requiring a restart. Overall, worth every penny I paid.

This is affordable for a home owner. Works great.

Took me a few minutes to figure out the viewing screen controls, but the camera worked well for insertion through all of the 4" sewer pipes in my home, and all the way to the street (up to 80 feet or so). I did not try it on smaller pipes, but am not sure it would work too well on small diameter pipes with tight corners. It went around multiple 90 degree and 45 degree fittings in my 4" sewer system with no problems, and I pushed it out about 80 or 90 feet. This is not a $5000 camera system, but it is a well engineered camera that works well for occasional homeowner or contractor use. Would definitely recommend and purchase again.

So far the camera does the job very good. The price is great and the length 65ft is enough for what I need it. The only thing that I wish the camera had it, was skids for the 16mm camera head. I hope they have it, so this will make it easier on 3" and 4" pipe

Very useful, helps me see what's causing the clogging in sewer lines. 65.6FT works pretty darn well for me.
