This is my 2nd one. The first one read 70 deg C, 1 percent humidy from a dead sensor after 14 months. Vevor don't sell spare parts breaking ACCC rules. Its a i2c sensor, but even after I installed at i2c 44 & 45 it still won't work, so the main chip logic gate is damaged. I ordered a replacement, station, but the new unit does not send data to weather underground, and even worse they chose dull red for the outside temp & humidity, so dull it can't be read during the day. Other useless info like the date and time, is white and easy to read... Go figure. The wind speed never goes high even in a cyclone, the cups are too small, approx half the speed of my handheld anemometer. Not recommended.

Set this up tried to get it to work with the app. Doesn't work. Wish we would have read the reviews before buying this trash.

Impossible de ce connecté car notice en anglais et moi rien comprendre c’est beau de vendre . mais une explication en français ce serait mieux . Pour le moment elle me sert à rien .

Dommage que l'on ne puisse pas aouter des capteurs (Ex T° au sol t° sous abris). Maintenant il affiche ciel nuageux tout le temps même par grand soleil. J'aurais aimer pouvoir enregistrer directement les données sur mon PC. je suis quand même déçus, mais bon pour le prix!

The real attraction to this weather station is its low price point. I decided to roll the dice and give it a try. Cliff note summary, I would not buy this unit again and I dont recommend it. Plus- easy assembly and quick app connectivity. I think that vevor has gotten that issue ironed out. I love the idea that I can look at my app and see what the weather is doing at home. Negatives- measurements are horribly inaccurate. Rain gauge isn't even close. Thats my main reason for buying it. At first I thought the measurement issue was from the location. I put up an old fashioned rain gauge near the weather station and the difference was significant. The more rain, the bigger the difference. This weather station is off several tenths per rain event. The anemometer looks neat but is worthless. Currently the wind is very strong. 30 mph gusts according to the local weather station. My weather station is reporting 6mph max gusts. Ummm nope. I can see the anenometer whipping in the wind but it just doesn't register with the instrument. I think the temp function is more accurate but u can buy an electric thermometer for a fraction of what the weather station costs. So to summarize... the vevor weather station is a budget option with budget results. I would highly recommend spending more and getting a more accurate instrument.

I really wanted to like this Vevor weather station, but after this year's heavy rainfall, it’s clear the unit misses the mark. The rain gauge is highly inaccurate. When a neighbor mentioned we had 5 inches of rain, my unit only reported 3. To test it, I bought a classic manual rain gauge and placed it within 10 feet of the weather station. Sure enough, during the next big storm, the Vevor unit registered almost a full inch less than the manual gauge. My neighbor confirmed the manual gauge was right, reporting nearly 2.5 inches in just a few hours while the Vevor underreported again. Look elsewhere if you need accurate rainfall data.

This unit has wifi, but the wifi does not reach more than 20m through open space. I had a Bunnings rain gauge which reached from the garden to inside the house easily and cost less and was 4 years old. This unit cost more, is brand new with new technology and yet is outclassed easily. Basically useless as it needs to be so close to the house, the wind gauge will be effectively under cover. The weather station can not be routed through wifi extenders it must communicate directly with the base unit which is so old tech. Needs to be routable to overcome it's very short 2.4g range. UPDATE: After getting it connected at close range, the station has died. Now showing as -40 degres when it is actually 7 outside, also showing as winds to 50km/h when there is zero wind outside and a gentle mist. This is complete rubbish, and it has died after juust 2 months. Don't waste your money, get one from Bunnings instead at least it will have a warranty. How this gets so many reviews >1 is beyond me

Das Display hat an der Strombuchse einen Wackelkontakt. Am gleichen Tag der Lieferung reklamiert. Leider reagiert Vevor nicht. Aufgrund der schlechten Erfahrung keine Empfehlung.

In placed an order for this unit and after a few weeks of waiting i was informed it was "on its way"! Then again many times "it's on its way". Finally after a message to say the truck is due today.....A Message to say it's been cancelled, or something of the sort!! So!! Eventually my money was refunded and that was the end of it!! No idea what happened and no offer of a resend. I'm sure they did not run out of stock. NO further follow up!!! Also!!! Very hard to "rate" as i don't have the unit.
