Na installatie, die zonder problemen verliep, wilde ik de WIFI activeren. Dat liep niet zo vlot als verwacht, pas na enkele pogingen is het gelukt. Het beste bleek te werken door eerst bij het weerstation (WWS etc) in te loggen en de website in te vullen. Dat gaf eerst geen succes, na opnieuw inloggen en dan de website die nog in de browser staat te activeren. De respons was nu dat de gegevens opgeslagen waren en toen was de WIFI en weathercloud etc geactiveerd. Mijn modem is een BOX12 van KPN, 5 EN 2,4 G, die heeft gelukkig een mogelijkheid om een SSID aan te maken om een 2,4 G site te maken, dat werkt OK.

Uitstekend en compact weerstation, mooi kleurendisplay. Gemakkelijk mechanisch te installeren. Het enige minpunt wat ik kan noemen is de manier waarop je het station via wifi moet instellen. Dat moet binnen de korte zoektijd van de wifi-scan gebeuren anders krijg je dat niet voor elkaar.

Very easy to assemble and install, and appears to be well-made. Directions are for most part good, although linking system to Weather Underground (WU) took some head-scratching to figure out how to do it. FYI to anybody buying one of these and linking to WU, the Station ID and password (or as they call it the Link key), these are provided by WU after you login and identify where you are.

Because the wind direction vane is tail heavy, this unit MUST be installed perfectly level! Any error will bias the wind direction readings. The bubble level built into the body of the external station is not accurate. I had to level it with a short hand-held level. It would be good if the direction vane was balanced, and not subject to any slight off-level error.

Provides all functions as advertised. Only issue is difficulty assembling wind speed/direction as screws hard to insert/tighten.

Purchased to replace a LaCrosse unit when its outside sensor became defective. The cost of the replacement unit in Canada was ridiculous (including shipping was about 80$. For a minimum amount of difference (about 45$) purchased the VEVOR which had extras like Moon cycle, rain accumulation, wind direction and a solar panel. I received the unit with some mounting screws missing. The service to get the replacement screws was fast enough, I would qualify as excellent after sales support. The VEVOR unit works great, and those extras compared to LaCrosse are certainly fun! The "forecast" seems a little slow to react, however, I assume it's because the unit is gathering data and this should work fine with time.

Installed for my Pastor, and absolutely loves it. His wife makes sure she checks it multiple times a day to make sure the dogs arent getting overheated. They find the multiple features handy.

Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Base extérieure sur batterie/solaire, c'est un plus! Affichage un peu juste dans une pièce lumineuse. L'appairage avec Weathercloud est une galère, explications floues dans le manuel. Il faut créer un compte sur Weathercloud pour obtenir les station ID et station KEY avant de pouvoir appairer celle ci sur l'interface de la station. après des heures de tâtonnements et si on est BAC+10, ça marche! Seul bémol, malgré un affichage T°/Humidité intérieure sur la station, pas de lecture de celles ci dans Weathercloud, les autres valeurs sont bien envoyées.

Did my research on youtube on the setup,was pretty easy.If I was to have followed the instructions in the book,my brain wouldve probably imploded. Seems pretty decent so far,only been a couple days. the indoor temp is of by probably 3.5 to 4 degrees,will have to look into that.
