I have a sleeping disorder where I sometimes sleepwalk and often throw myself violently out of bed. As I’m getting a bit older, I was starting to damage myself more.
These guardrails are great. Super easy to install (both my mattress & I are heavy so I didn’t bother with the strap). Once installed, the mechanism to raise or lower the rails works like a charm.
I still launch myself but once I come into contact with the bars I wake up safe, sound, and unharmed.
I love them!

So I got two bedrooms for my grandmother's bed. She is 84 years old with dementia she got up out of the bed at night and had fallen a few times. The rails work super great. Love how they fold down. My only problem would be they are on a adjustable bed and the mattress is very thick so you don't have much railing support from the top of the mattress to the top of the rail But they work great but she has the mind of a child so it didn't hold her in long. She figured out how to let the rail down and she just slides straight out of the bed but definitely a great product. Well worth the money. Love it! Definitely would recommend for anyone who has an elderly that they are taking care of
