Bought this unit hoping it would work for dried up dog poop. It does ok with dry leaves but it just breaks up the poop and spreads it like a manure spreader all over the yard. The bag is also a pain in the butt to empty when full so a modification to this design would be great to make this cleaner and easier.

Like the concept. Very difficult to use if you have a lot of leaves. Sweeper pushes the leaves instead of picking them up. You have to constantly stop and adjust the height of the sweeper. Would be nice if there was a height adjuster on the push bar. Dumping the leaves was easy. Almost easier to rack.

I could have sworn I bought the plastic one bought I guess not. This one has been a pain so far, I’ll be pushing it and I’ll hit a tiny vine coming out of the ground and it stops, tangles, then. I have to cut it out. The brushes get stuff stuck in them very easily and it’s pain to get them cleaned up. Finding the right level is hit or miss. I guess it takes awhile to get it right. Taking the bag on and off is not fun at all which is why I wanted the plastic one. For me it’s just average.

This sweeper is a decently made sweeper, easy to assemble, works smoothly for the most part, except the height adjustment - that's a little "sticky". You can loosen the knob almost all the way, and then still have to "whack" the housing a bit to get it to slide up and down. The main complaint I have: to pick up leaves, you can set the brushes to a pretty high setting so they just barely brush the tops of the grass surface. That will pick up most of the leaves. But to pick up sticks, or other smaller/heavier debris that might be down in the grass even just a little bit, you have to drop the brushes down a bit further, and they snag/bind up in the grass which brings the spinning axle to a complete stop if you're not very careful. It makes it super hard to push at a steady pace. If there were some rear roller/wheels to set the sweep height, it would work a LOT better. That way you could set the height to be an average of what's needed to pick up various debris and the brushes wouldn't bind up on the ground. It's VERY hard to push when the brushes are too low.

I wish the brushes was metal and not plastic. Get stuck on grass

It's fine for home use. If the leaves are wet or thick at all it doesn't pick them all up. It's not really ideal for large jobs. I use it at home, and my daughter can push it with no problem, so it's a good product, but it wasn't really ideal for use on large projects. If the brush is all the way down it gets pretty hard to push, but even then it doesn't get everything. It's a good residential product, but the add made it seem as if it could stand up to larger, more demanding projects.

The sweeper itself works very good. It picks up leaves, sawdust and small branches with very little effort. It does bog down if you have moss on your lawn, but that’s your own fault for having a mossy lawn. The issues I do have are the handle could be slightly heavier duties. It feels quite light and like it won’t last and the bagging attachment system is not the best. It should be rethought to make it more rugged and easier to use. All around, though this is a pretty good purchase and it certainly beats raking and lugging leaves in a wheelbarrow.

Lawn sweeper is a little tough to push if you do not have a perfectly smooth lawn. If your lawn is bumpy it likes to stop forward progress. Other than that once you get adjusted to the right height it works as described. Maybe softer bristles would make it easier to use when brand new. Time will tell.

The product is a great idea. but not as good or easy to use as all the ads I've seen. it doesn't pick up every leaf only certain ones. and if your lawn is not flat but is uneven with holes and divots it can be extremely hard to use. but it does pick up most of the debris. so I would say buy with caution. Cause it works but not as advertised.

The concept is superb and I was eager to use. I have a 30' pine tree and it drops lots of small pinecones. At 70 it is getting harder for me to pick them up off my lawn. Sadly this does not pick most of them up. I have to go over an area multiple times and still find I am bending down to pick up the stragglers. I am "playing" with the settings and hope that with use it will become more effective. This fall I will try it with the leaves in my front yard and hope it is more effective than with pinecones.
