I had the unit installed, and it produced ice for only 24 hours. While I was cleaning in the kitchen, I suddenly noticed a burning smell. I quickly realized it was coming from the ice maker, which had also stopped working.
I reached out to support and immediately received an automated response instructing me to "cease using the product immediately and dispose of it properly." Then, they asked for pictures of the actual burning—seriously? I have been going back and forth with their support team, but the issue remains unresolved.
I absolutely would not recommend buying this unit, or really anything from them, if you value reliable customer support. It looks like I'm now forced to absorb the total cost of this defective ice maker. Lesson learned. Zero stars if I could give them that!
