Unpacked Grinder and had it set up and running in about 5 min The only choice was to use to wheel or flat platen Noise level is decent at 5000rpm full speed and only gets better the slower you run it Belt tracking works as intended Tested unit and im happy with the test run For a inexpensive 1x30 belt grinder this is a well made unit that has plenty of power and variable speed is a nice option I Did make a larger 4x12 inch rest to accommodate my jigs the one that came with the unit worked well but was just to small for my needs I needed to tighten all the screws but thats not a big deal in my book I used a square and level to make sure everything was set correctly! For the price id buy it again and its def worth a look if you are in the market This works really well for a small Grinder it’s a beast and does many of the same tasks a 2x72 grinder will do! For 1/4 the price My only complaint is there is no reverse option on VFD its only runs in one direction For the Price thats not a deal breaker @Vevor adding that Option Would make this a 5star review 😉

Eigentlich ein tolles Gerät. Leider kann bei der aktuellen Version die Laufrichtung nicht mehr geändert werden. Wurde mir vom Vevor Support so bestätigt. Keine Ahnung, warum man sowas macht.

Petit backstand plutôt sympathique, fabrication de qualité. Étant coutelier amateur je recommande ce produit très agréable et un véritable plus le variateur de vitesse. Satisfait de mon achat

livraison rapidement et bonne machine et un prix raisonnable , il manque d'information sur le boitier de vitesse et notamment changement de rotation de sens de courroie qui oblige de contacter le service de vevor pour avoir les informations .

Bonjour, Je fais de la coutellerie amateur et je trouve ce mini backstand plutôt satisfaisant. La puissance est suffisante. La qualité est plutôt bonne même si certaines choses pourraient être améliorées (taille des vis un peu courte, support de guide trop petit ). Les bandes se trouvent facilement.

Its ok . Comes loose quite often and needs to be tightened . I would go for something heavier next time

Sander over all is worth the money as long as your happy to do some tinkering and fixes! The sander has lots of power and no issues with bogging down while running! And the VFD does a great job of speed control. There are multiple parts that are just not designed well and have not been thought out... All the hard where is pretty cheap and some bolts do not even go all the way through the plate so strength is definitely compromised, easily fixed by replacing hardware with more quality stuff. Also alignment! The alignment of the pulleys is really not that great and if you center the belt on the platine it's hanging off the drive pulley and vice versa The platine on mine was also behind the two front pulleys which is definitely not ideal, again easily fixed by placing some spacing washers behind the platine Another thing is the table rest is an absolute joke, far to small to do anything useful and is only supported on one side with 1 bolt, and don't even get me started on the horizontal sanding table, honestly probably one of the lease thought out parts of the machine and just not good enough I know there has been alot of negatives here, but although there are issues, if you are beginner knife maker and can't afford a 2x72 straight away (which you shouldn't buy unless you are sure you want to continue knife making anyway!) this really is a great buy! It will change your process of knife making and speed things up more than you can imagine! As I say honestly, as long as your happy to do a bit of work I can truly recommend this belt sander as as long as your a fairly handy person all the issues are very easily fixable and it's worth spending the time doing them. It's truly a shame that Vevor hasn't fixed these easily solvable issues, even if Vevor charged 10-20€ more and replaced the hard where or spent that money on quality control this machine would be improved 10X and would be much easier to use and handle for people with not much experience! TLDR: A good belt sander but issues that need fixing, worth buying as long as your happy to do some work and spend money on upgrades
