Die Schleifmaschine ist in einer Soliden und guten Verpackung angeliefert worden. Die Verarbeitung der einzelnen Komponenten an der Maschine sind in einer guten Qualität. dIe elektrischen Anschlüsse am Frequenzumrichter könnten aber noch etwas profesioneller verdeckt werden. Ein Notschalter wäre ebenfalls von Vorteil. Wer etwas handwerklich Begabt ist dürfte dieses Mango aber kein Problem sein, es ist mit wenig finanziellen und arbeitszeitlichen Aufwand verbunden. Ich habe die Kabel verlängert damit der Frequenzumrichter in weiterer Entfernung abgelegt werden kann, einen Notschalter dazwischen installiert und bin damit sehr zufrieden. Eine Schutzabdeckung für das Schleiferband mit einem Absaugstutzen wäre noch das absolute Highlight. Aber man darf nicht vergessen, welcher Preis für die Maschine gezahlt wird. Die Handhabung ist sehr einfach und Zweckentsprechend. Fazit! Der Bandschleifer ist eine Bereicherung meiner Werkstatt ich würde ihn auch wieder kaufen und er macht das was er soll.

For the last 3 years I have been looking for a small belt grinder/sander for shaping and finishing small parts. I am a gunsmith for antique and new Colt revolvers, (30 + years). For the past 12 years I heave used a Kalamazoo 1 x 42. I wanted something with variable speed and a more robust platen and table system. Most of what I found was in the $500 to $800 and too bulky. I read a lot of the comments about this machine and was skeptical, but wanted to see for myself. I was fully expecting to have to do some mods, but at $200 I thought it would be worth it. I am extremely pleased with the machine and its quality, considering what it is. I found the overall build quality to be an 9. I made a few improvements that were very easy to do that made a huge difference. Photos included for clarity. Six washers were needed. Four on the left side for bolts that needed more contact area. The other two washers are spacers between the platen and the mounting arms. The platen sits slightly behind the vertical plane of the wheels above and below it. This causes the belt to have play in it as you push something into it for grinding. I want the belt to rest right on the platen, so the moment you press a part into the belt, it is sanding. The $3800 TW90 knife grinder I have is set up this way. I placed one washer between each of the two mounting points of the platen. They measure 0.026" or 0.67mm in thickness. This put the wheels and platten in perfect alignment. Two other things to note. There is a small mounting block that holds the machine to the swivel. There are four bolts holding this together. They were all very loose causing the machine to wobble. Like most reviewers have suggested, check and tighten all bolts. I used Loctite on these as they are hard to get to. One very small nitpick, I didn't like how small the handle for the belt tensioner was. I made a new handle by I turning a 3/4" piece of aluminum on my lathe. See photo. As a knife maker, this little sander/grinder fits a perfect niche between full scale 2” x 72”grinders and rotary tool applications. Prior to ordering, I was skeptical about the power of this small motor for some applications. After using for a few weeks, the motor is more than sufficient for any scale job that you would be using this for. The features on this little grinder justify the price. Having vertical and horizontal applications, separate work tables for each, along with a standard platen and a contact wheel plus variable frequency drive and reversibility really give this tool a lot of versatility. I find the sanding belts that came with the device are subpar, but are functional for a very brief period of time. I cannot speak to the longevity, but initial impressions are high. I would strongly recommend this machine for serious hobbyists, knife makers, or anyone who has a use for a functional machine at this size.

You can pay a lot more and not get any better than this. It is very versatile with the ability to reverse and rotate between zero and 5000rpm. The belt adjustment works very well and its engineering is spot on with quality bearings and high quality stainless steel.

Ottima levigatrice, consegna veloce e pacco integro. La macchina presenta un assemblaggio da rivedere con la stretta di tutti i bulloni lasciati lenti, cinghie non molto idonee solo per prova, bisogna comprare delle cinghie idonee per il proprio utilizzo. Peccato che sia tutta in metallo amagnetico. Unica pecca la ruota motrice presenta qualche imperfezione (vedi foto), mentre la ruota superiore di trascinamento (regolazione nastro) andrebbe sostituita con una più adatta, problema superabile con l'avvolgimento centrale di sei giri di nastro isolante. Nel complesso rapporto qualità/prezzo/funzionalità, veramente consigliata

I'm really happy with this purchase. Its a great little machine and well built. There was one small issue which required support to send out a new bolt and nut as the one shipped could not be undone which they did. You will need to go over the whole unit and tighten everything up. The Allen key supplied is rubbish so I suggest you use a good one. There are no instructions on how to set it up but after a few minutes of cogitating I managed to work out the various wheel arrangements and also the vertical and horizontal options and how they can be used. I will be using the unit to make and sharpen knives, which it will do without a doubt.

I purchased the vevor 2x72 belt grinder for $875.00. It came with a VFD (Variable Frequency Drive, meaning change motor speed on command) a 2 hp 3 phase motor AND a 110 volt to 220 volt inverter to run the 3 phase motor off of a regular 110 volt outlet that everyone here in America has in there home and garage. You can run this off of a 220 volt outlet also but you would have to buy a plug adapter. I have 220 volt outlets available but I have other machines plugged into them so I run this grinder off of a 110 outlet instead and have had no issues whatsoever. This grinder has exceeded my expectations. Ofcourse I was skeptical. I thought for sure that something would be wrong with it considering the price. After I received it and then hooked it up there was nothing wrong with it at all. It was as simple as plug and play. This thing is overbuilt and the wheels are true. The large wheel that it comes with was machined true and balanced. It came with a flat platen, a large contact wheel and two sets of small diameter contact wheels for finer radii. I could not be happier with this machine. Best part is that it is about 1/4th the price of any other 2x72 out there. I have been hogging metal away with it and it has performed very well. I have yet to bog it down or stall it out. One thing I would do is go over all bolts on the attachments that come with the grinder to make sure they are all nice and tight. I would absolutely purchase this again.
