I needed a metal pail, with a convex bottom, for heating lanolin-based automotive undercoating products. This is perfect! Added a bucket heater, and connected to my airless sprayer. Easily heats up products like Fluid Film and Woolwax safely.

I've brewed twice in it and so far so good! Going to try and purchase the bigger one soon. Wish there was more pressure on the lid when sealing and the yeast exhaust flow valve was larger. But still works and cleans out well!!

I like these well enough that I have purchased two now. Its a very low cost stainless conical bottom fermentor. A few things that could be better - instead of a 45 degree cone I wish it was a 60. I wish the feet were solid stainless instead of the rubber caps that come off. I had to drill a hole in the lid for a thermistor because I use a temperature controller. For the same reason I remove the thermometer that comes with it and block the hole with a stainless bolt and nut. Still, they are a great value and I would buy one again no hesitation.

It works pretty well and it's easy to clean. The temperature gauge on mine is about two degrees off. I have a friend with three of them and one of his is off also, he doesn't care because he uses other equipment to maintain temperature. We both wish it came with more adjustment to the legs.
