A good knife set that covers everything you need. The knives are sharp, well balanced, and have a full tang (that's a term I learned from a knife salesman and now use every chance I get). The ergonomic handles are comfortable and the wooden block looks nice on the counter. I have not had to sharpen them yet so I don't know how well the sharpener works, but I consider that a good thing. My one complaint is a black stain or stamp on the wood of the block that I cannot explain and was not expecting. It does not affect function but it is noticeable and a little disappointing on an otherwise attractive set. Great value for a 15 piece set with a sharpening rod and knife block included.

Vevor is a brand that has never blown me away with their quality, but they're often good enough at a very reasonable price. My experience with Vevor is mostly with tools. Oddly enough that sentiment applies here too. We had a set of knives that were 2-3 times the cost of these. Over the years the serrated knives became too worn to be sharpened any more. I didn't expect these to be the same quality, and they're not, but they're good enough and the price reflects that. The knife block seems to be soft pine rather than hardwood. It's solid wood and it works. I expect the openings around the knife holes will wear more quickly than a hardwood block from inserting and removing the knives. The knives themselves are extremely sharp out of the box. They feel extremely light weight compared to the knives that we were used to with a solid metal handle. Personally, the lightweight feel makes them feel cheap to me, though again, they're perfectly functional. A good variety of knives are included. The scissors and sharpening rod aren't items that I would have expected at this price point. For the price, these knives are an excellent value. The quality is perfectly acceptable for everyday use. If you're looking for higher end knives these aren't it. This is a case where I feel like you are getting more than you pay for.

What a great set of knives for a great price! The quality of these knives is pretty decent. It could be used for a first time homeowner or if you just want a standard set of knives and dont want to spend an arm and a leg, this set is for you! The appearance in the block, nobody would ever guess that these are only $50! They came pretty sharp, I did have to sharpen some of the steak knives with the included sharpener in the block. This also worked really great! The weight of the knives is pretty light. These appear to look high end and worked great for every day cutting needs in the kitchen and around the home.

This kitchen knife that pretty much comes with everything you need for knives in your kitchen. For starters, it comes with a block, which makes storing all of your knives, very convenient and easy. I am a bit of a germophobe, so it always does irk me a little to put my knives in blocks like that, but this one does have a nice clean wooden look to it. The knives come in a variety of grits, shapes, and sizes. I needed some good sharp knives for cutting fruit and these ones definitely did not disappoint. I will say I’m not as fond of the silver and black color in person and probably would’ve opted for a different color. Everything else about the knives are pretty useful and functional.

Vevor makes a lot of good things. They don't make great things, but they are good. If they narrowed their focus, quality would be better. This knife set is another one of those "good" things. The block is "good" but has manufacturing quirks - blemishes. The knives are of decent quality. The metal could probably be better, but the saving grace is the sharpener, because I think these would need to be sharpened regularly. I love that there is a variety of knives/accesories. The materials used are pretty decent. The grip is pretty standard, and the set looks nice. For the price, there is a good value.

Wow am I impressed for what I get for the price. It's honestly a steal. I was expecting a cheap borderline useless set of knives which you see so often at this price point, but it's really solid and no nonsense. I've missed these kinds of knives. Where do I start? First off, the knives themselves. There's a good range, fairly standard for a set, with the added bonus of a knife honer. Now, a knife honing rod is not the same as a sharpener, you use it to maintain, if your knives dull because you haven't been taking care of them you'll need a real knife sharpener. But it's nice they included that in there, it's got a guard so you don't cut yourself honing the knife. They come out of the box pretty sharp, and cuts pretty cleanly through. The steel is nice, and it's full tang! Which is surprising for knives at this price point. Fairly balanced too, which is important when you're handling the knives, doesn't tilt blade-heavy or handle-heavy. Handles are fairly ergonomic and won't slip easily. The knife block is the weakest part of the set, it's alright. The slots fit fine and thankfully it's divided, the blades stay separate. Finish is just a bit rough at the edges of the slots, for the most part fine but here and there you have little bits of wood. Most of the surfaces are smooth though, natural wood with an unnotably standard finish. The bottom is not especially well finished, and mine had some discoloration on the bottom. It is the bottom though so no one will look there. Some foam pads secure it from slipping, it's higher quality than the ultra cheap ones but still doesn't give me a lot of confidence. For the price? I was pleasantly surprised by this knife set. The knives are very lightweight in the hand, but still feel well-balanced and comfortable to use. The handles fit nicely and make them easy to control during food prep. They arrived extremely sharp right out of the box and have performed well so far. I'm not a knife expert, and I suspect the steel may be on the softer side, so they may need sharpening more often than premium knives. That said, they seem like they'll be easy to sharpen and maintain. For the price, this set offers a lot of value and feels like a solid budget-friendly option.

I ordered the VEVOR Kitchen Knife Set with Block and Sharpener to update my knives. This set has a lot of nice qualities. Sharp knives, a way to keep them sharp, a good assortment of knives and a good looking block to store them in. The knives have a good weight although my favorite is the Japanese knife. I find it useful for most of my cutting needs. The knives also have a good balance and are confortable to grip. They are easy to clean as well. I believe these knives to be a good value for the price.
