I purchased the Vevor Metal band saw for use in my home workshop. I received the unit quickly and was very impressed with its capability. I regularly cut aluminum thick wall tube 90mm and flat bar and this saw works well for this. I also cut 25mm thick steel and occasionally cut 52mm 4140 steel and some stainless steel. This saw handles this all very well. The saw cuts straight and reasonably quickly. I do not force the cut but take my time. I am very happy with the quality and performance of the Vevor BS-85.

This metal bandsaw is a must-have for the DYO who does constant fabrication. No more cut-off saws and mess. The body must have shims under the body/base to get accurate square cuts. The variable speed is a good adaptation for various steel sizes. The replacement blades are available from the company toolstorm.com. They cut better than the original provided. But be warned, the machine does have a weak point. The drive gears are cast iron and break in the shoulder between the two gears. After the failure, I immediately bought another machine, and contacted the warranty team. There were several emails to obtain satisfaction, but eventually, they offered me the option of a replacement or refund. I chose replacement, which they immediately sent. Yep! I now have two. The fact is that I took the machine for granted, and when it broke, I could not get along without it . A great machine for anyone who does a bit of fabrication. Full stars in every respect

Was not happy about being charged $100 for shipping when all your Web pages say free shipping it would appear you are misleading the public. I brought items from another Web site they said free shipping and it was free shipping.

Perfect little saw for a small home shop. Good adjustability. Good power. Easily locks horizontally for transport or storage. Locks vertically so you can turn it into a little vertical bandsaw.
