This is a great saw, but when in it’s stand it cannot cut a standard 50x50mm SHS in a 45 degree mitre, this is such a shame as 50x50 is the most popular and used size steel on DIY projects. I was so disappointed when I found this out as I have a bunch of 50x50mm steel for projects and this thing wont cut it unless you’re just cutting the very end of a section. If you want a 45 mitre, its a 2 step process, cut the steel with a square cut, then cut the 45 mitre, anything longer than square cut with the blade will result in part of the saw obstructing the 50x50shs . The saw itself is fine, does what it says on the tin. Make sure you buy extra blades, if you don’t clamp your material (Angle iron) the ‘right’ way, the saw can catch and kick, which results with a kink in your blade, and basically ruins your blade… ask me how I know…twice… So save yourself some time and buy a pack of 3 or 5, 1140mm blades when you’re buying this saw. Then you’ll be set for a while. But honestly, if you can afford it, buy a cold cut saw instead, the saw blade will last forever, it cuts faster and more accurately for an additional $100 odd AUD, you’ll find them here on vevor.

I like it, could be a little more rigid but it is an awesome little saw.

So far so good. I chose to convert this to an upright bandsaw by making a Formply stand for it. It can easily be removed it to use freehand at anytime and no modification was needed to be made to the actual machine. Cuts well and is safer and easier to use than an angle grinder. Probably as quick too (for cutting a knife blank). Overall, I'm very pleased with it. PS Vevor were very helpful with my change of model issue too.

Für den Hobby Bereich völlig ausreichend. Ware kam gut verpackt und schnell an. Die Anleitung ist sehr dürftig, nicht in deutsch und die Fotos kaum erkennbar daher Anleitung auf YouTube ansehen. Unglücklich ist der Kabel Austritt vorne am Handgriff, habe ich mit einem Kabelbinder gelöst. Eine tolle Maschine, würde ich wieder kaufen!

Mit etwas Gefühl für`s Material und für`s Sägeblatt ist dies eine wirklich gut zu gebrauchende Bandsäge. Ich verwende sie vorallem für Winkelschnitte bei nachfolgenden Schweisarbeiten und erziele damit gute Ergebnisse. Sie klingt halt wie ne günstige Bohrmaschine was mich aber bei diesen Ergebnissen und diesem Preis nicht weiter stört.

Hallo, Habe diese Bandsäge letztlich gekauft, ich bin super zufrieden mit diesem Artikel. Es macht was es soll und das auch noch schnell und präzise. Würde die Säge immer wieder kaufen. Dankeschön 👍

Ich habe mit der Säge 50 60 mm Rohre gesägt. Auch Flachstahl 20x60 sägen war kein Problem. Ging überraschend schnell. Der Schnitt war sehr sauber. Nur sehr geringer Verschleiß am Sägeband. Fixierung ist einfach und präzise. Ersatzsägebänder gibt es im Netz.
